The Automatic Coil Wrapping Machine is an innovative solution for streamlining coil packaging operations. It is designed to automatically wrap, label and seal coils with adhesive tape for a neat, professional presentation and enhanced protection during storage and transit.
Our coil wrapping machine consists of a high-speed coil in-feed conveyor, wrapping station, label printer, tape applicator and out-feed conveyor to automatically guide coils through the entire packaging process. At the in-feed conveyor, coils are detected and transported into the wrapping station one by one.
The wrapping station meticulously wraps each coil with plastic stretch film or custom printed paper using an adjustable tension wrapping system. The number of wraps and material type can be programmed as per client specifications. This protects the coil edges and ensures a tightly wrapped, secure package.
Once wrapped, the coil moves to the label printer station where special high-adhesion labels are printed with details such as coil ID, dimensions, material grade, etc. The printed labels are precisely applied to the surface of the coil using a high-speed label applicator. This facilitates easy identification and traceability of coils.
To further secure the labels and wrapping, narrow adhesive tape is automatically applied around the circumference and edges of the coil. Hot melt tape is used for temperature-sensitive materials. The adhesive is precisely controlled to firmly attach the labels and film without seeping, ensuring a clean finish.
The out-feed conveyor then transports the fully packaged coils for storage or dispatch. Selection of packing material, number of wraps, label printing template and tape type can be programmed into the machine for different coil grades and dimensions. This provides complete flexibility and customization as per customer needs.
