Hi, I’m Zhang Weiqiang, Core Lead of the Mechanical R&D Group at Fhope. As a senior mechanical engineer, I have spent 14 years developing steel coil packaging line structures — from scheme review and drawing finalization to manufacturing coordination and factory acceptance.

I have delivered 22 complete line and unit structural solutions, led three generations of heavy-duty coil turnover mechanisms, and pushed standardized modules that have been reused on 8 domestic and export packaging lines.

What I Focus On

  • Heavy-duty structures and bases for high-vibration mill environments: reinforced zones, damping layers, bolt preload verification, balancing stiffness and lightweight design
  • Third-generation modular heavy-duty turnover mechanisms: turnover, guide, and buffer units can be replaced independently, raising drawing reuse across similar projects by about 40%

Representative Results

  • I led the full structural solution for a heavy-duty intelligent packaging line at a major steel mill. After the upgrade, unplanned downtime during line operation dropped and packaging rhythm consistency stayed stable; the line is running at key mills in East and North China.
  • I standardized our turnover and conveying modules, shortening drawing and assembly cycles. The modules have been deployed across 8 domestic and export coil packaging lines.

Troubleshooting Case

At a customer’s turnover station, hydraulic shock caused repeated positioning drift under high-tempo uncoiling: more than 6 unplanned stops per month and about 40 minutes per reset. After we optimized the buffer and guide structures, field testing showed positioning failure down about 60% and reset time cut from 40 minutes to under 15 minutes. The solution has been reused on similar lines.

Hi, I’m Zhou Hua, Core Lead of the Supervision & After-Sales Service team at Fhope. As a senior service engineer, I have spent 12 years in steel coil packaging equipment field supervision and service, covering spare parts strategy, customer inspection plans, emergency dispatch, remote support, and operator training.

I built Fhope’s 3-region service network with a 7×24 response mechanism, so customers get faster support no matter where the line runs.

What I Focus On

  • On-site supervision and factory acceptance: structural and electrical checks, safety interlocks, handover verification, installation and commissioning oversight
  • Annual inspection checklists: electrical contacts, sensor status, lubrication and wear, safety interlocks, film path and tension review
  • 7×24 tiered response: P1 stop-line faults get remote diagnosis and on-site dispatch; P2 throughput-impacting faults are closed the same day; P3 preventive issues enter the inspection plan

Troubleshooting Case

At a customer’s wrapping station, frequent film breaks caused 10+ rework incidents per month and about 25 minutes per film change. After tuning film tension and replacing wear-prone guide rollers, the film break rate dropped about 55% and change time fell from 25 minutes to under 10 minutes. The approach has been reused on similar lines.
