Overview

The FHOPE Automatic Steel Rod Packing Line offers an efficient and reliable solution for packaging steel rods through a fully automated process. This system ensures that each steel rod bundle is packed securely, preventing surface damage during handling and transportation. The packing line is equipped with both a film covering machine and a wrapping machine to wrap steel rods tightly, offering excellent protection against moisture, dirt, and other environmental factors.

This automated system significantly reduces manual labor, enhances productivity, and ensures consistent and precise packaging. Its customizable features make it suitable for various sizes and shapes of steel rods, providing flexibility for diverse production needs.

Working Process

  1. Lift Steel Rod Bundles

    • Lift 3-5 bundles of steel rod onto the front infeed conveyor line 1.

  2. Gaps Creation

    • The specially designed front infeed conveyors 1 and 2 create gaps between each steel rod bundle, allowing them to enter the front lifting conveyor one by one.

  3. Weighing and Wrapping at Front End

    • After the front lifting conveyor descends, the steel rod bundle falls onto the front roller conveyor (equipped with a weighing device for net weight). After resting for weighing, it is conveyed in reverse into the front end film covering machine and wrapping machine A for packaging.

  4. Film Covering and Strap Wrapping

    • Once the film wrapping at the front end is completed, the steel rod bundle is conveyed from the infeed direction to the rear end film covering machine. After film covering, the bundle is secured by a woven strap wrapping machine, which wraps the entire bundle with the woven strap from end to end. After wrapping, the woven strap's tail is automatically secured by a tape-sealing device.

  5. Weighing and Labeling at Rear End

    • The steel rod bundle that has completed the packaging process is conveyed to the rear roller conveyor (equipped with a weighing device for gross weight). After resting for weighing, the automatic labeling machine applies the label automatically.

  6. Transfer to Rear Outfeed Conveyor

    • Once the label is applied, the rear lifting conveyor raises the bundle and transfers it to the rear outfeed conveyor for temporary storage. After collecting 3-5 bundles, they are cleared out collectively using a crane.

  7. Continuous Operation

    • After one cycle is completed, the operation proceeds in a continuous loop.

  10. Touch Screen and Software

    • The system is controlled via a touch screen computer offering sensitive, easy-to-use operation with 10-point touch control.

    • Designed with efficient heat dissipation and quiet operation.

  11. Rear Lifting Conveyor

    • Motor-driven, connected to 4 groups of synchronous belts for transmission.

    • Precision-machined linkage shaft ensures synchronization of the 4 groups of belts.

  12. Rear Outfeed Conveyor

    • Motor-driven system with variable frequency speed control for smooth start and stop, enhancing transfer stability.

    • Synchronous belt transfer line uses high-pressure resistant and wear-resistant belts for durability.
