The upgraded slitting coil service ceter at Mexico now boasts an advanced steel coil packaging line tailored specifically for bundling strip coils post slitting-and-shearing.
This sophisticated system comprises an array of automated equipment: a down-ender for coil positioning, a wrapping machine for secure sealing, a strapping machine for reinforcement, and an integrated stocking system for orderly storage.
Additionally, the line is equipped with an automated pallet strapping machine, all seamlessly interconnected via a conveyor to ensure an efficient, automated packing process.
Advanced Coil Specifications :
This state-of-the-art slitting coil packaging line is engineered to handle steel coils with the following specifications: each coil can weigh between 1000 to 5000 kilograms, with an outer diameter ranging from 762 to 2032 millimeters and an inner diameter of 508 to 610 millimeters.
The line can accommodate coils with a width of 25 to 610 millimeters, operating on a power supply of 380V, 3-phase, and a 5-line 50Hz system.
This setup guarantees that the coils are prepared meticulously for distribution, upholding both safety and quality standards.
Bespoke Strapping Solution :
This bespoke solution is meticulously crafted for the strapping of steel coils on pallets, operating in a semi-automatic mode.
The central piece, a semi-automatic strapping tool, has undergone rigorous testing and comes with the metallurgical industry’s seal of approval.

Robust Strapping Equipment :
Our strapping apparatus is comprehensively equipped with a durable steel reel dispenser, a precision steel belt feeder, a stable fixed arch, and the aforementioned semi-automatic strapping tool.
Additionally, it is fitted with a guide rail and an integrated pneumatic and electrical control system, ensuring seamless operation and exceptional reliability in securing steel coils.
