Why wrap around a stationary load
Some pallet loads should not sit on a spinning turntable, whether because of their shape, their centre of gravity, or a floor that is already at line level. The R100 wraps the other way: the load stays where it is and the arm moves around it.
Wrapping over a stationary load removes the need to rotate or lift heavy items. The machine instead needs clear space around the load for the arm circle. The arm reach sets the load size limit. Load dimensions are confirmed per project.
Mit csinál a gép
The machine is an R100 rotary arm pallet wrapping machine. A pallet sits on the floor on support blocks, and a yellow rotary arm that carries the film roll swings down from above and rotates around the load, laying stretch film onto the pallet surface. A side auxiliary arm opens out to help with the wrap.
During the pass the load does not move, lift or rotate. The film is applied by the arm as it circles the pallet. The wrap cycle is confirmed per project.
The arm carries the film roll
Because the film roll rides on the rotating arm, the film unwinds in unison with the arm’s travel, so the film tension follows the rotation smoothly around the whole circle. The arm swings out from a held position and completes its orbit over the load.
The arm path removes the need for a separate film carriage moving around the load. Arm travel and film tension are confirmed per project.
One rotation one layer
The footage shows the arm completing one rotation around the pallet, laying a film layer over the load. More rotations add more layers, and the arm returns to its held position after the wrap, leaving the pallet on the floor.
This makes the R100 a straightforward way to add a defined number of layers to a load that must not move. Layer count and arm passes are confirmed per project.

Működés és biztonság
Place the pallet and start the cycle so the arm rotates around the load under power. Keep out of the arm circle and the film path while the machine runs, with guarding and emergency stops around the working area.
Routine checks cover the arm drive, the film roll carrier and the auxiliary arm, per the machine manual. Confirm the load against the arm reach before each run.
