Máquina empacadora de envoltura de papel y película completamente automática para perfil de aluminio

> A fully automatic film and paper wrapping machine for aluminum profile wraps each profile, or a small bundle of profiles, first in paper and then in stretch film as it runs along a roller line. Two orbital rings stand one after the other: the first lays the paper, the second seals it under film. Our profile wrapper takes packs from 40 × 40 mm up to 250 × 200 mm and 3,000–6,400 mm long. A worked example shows how ring speed and film width limit the line speed.

Why paper and film

Anodised and powder-coated aluminum profile is sold on its finish, and a scuff in transport can make it a reject. Paper next to the surface cushions it and does not stick to the coating. Stretch film over the paper holds it in place, keeps out dust and rain, and binds a small bundle into one pack. Together they protect better than either does alone.

The two-ring wrapping line

Profiles run in one by one on a long blue roller line. Vertical white guide rollers keep each profile centred as it enters the wrapping stations. The first orbital ring, inside a yellow mesh guard, carries a roll of brown paper and lays it round the profile in a spiral. Straight after it, a second ring lays stretch film over the paper. Both rings turn as the profile moves forward, so each layer goes on in one continuous pass.

A material draw-back device keeps the tension constant, so the paper and film go on tight without tearing. Our guide to [setting a good packing tension on an orbital stretch wrapper](https://www.fhopepack.com/videos/how-to-make-a-good-packing-tension-for-the-orbital-stretch-wrapper/) covers the adjustment. Wrapped profiles leave on the outfeed table and are moved sideways on transfer belts for collecting and stacking.

Profile wrapper data

| Artículo | Valor |
| :--- | :--- |
| Pack size, minimum | 40 × 40 mm × 3,000 mm |
| Pack size, maximum | 250 × 200 mm × 6,400 mm |
| Pack length range | 3,000–6,400 mm |
| Pack weight | 10–100 kg |
| Wrapping time | 20–35 s per pack (quoted; depends on length and overlap) |
| Velocidad del anillo | 20–100 r/min |
| Film | stretch film, 100–200 mm wide, 50 mm core |
| Infeed and outfeed roller tables | 6,500 mm each |
| Outfeed rollers | polyurethane, powered |
| Alimentación | 380 V, trifásica, 50 Hz |

Worked example: what limits the line speed

Illustrative pack: a single 6 m profile, wrapped at 50% overlap with 200 mm film, the ring at its top speed of 100 r/min. The pack moves forward by v ÷ n for each ring turn, and the overlap is 1 − (v ÷ n) ÷ W.

| Comprobar | Cálculo | Resultado |
| :--- | :--- | :--- |
| Top conveyor speed at 50% overlap | 100 × 0.2 × (1 − 0.5) | 10 m/min |
| Wrapping time for 6 m | 6 ÷ 10 × 60 | 36 s |
| Top speed at 30% overlap | 100 × 0.2 × (1 − 0.3) | 14 m/min |
| Wrapping time for 6 m | 6 ÷ 14 × 60 | ≈ 26 s |

**Result.** At 50% overlap the ring limits the line to 10 m/min, and a 6 m profile takes 36 s, just over the quoted 20–35 s range; the quoted times assume a lighter overlap or shorter packs. At 30% overlap the line can run at 14 m/min and the same profile takes about 26 s.

The fastest cycle times therefore come with a lighter overlap. Where the finish needs two full layers, plan on the slower time. The paper ring is set the same way, for the paper width and overlap you need.

Ends, stacking and bundle covering

An automatic tape sealing unit can tape the ends of each pack, so the paper does not come loose at the ends. An automatic stacker can follow the transfer belts. For bundles rather than single profiles, we also build machines that fold a sheet of paper or PE round the whole bundle and tape it at 3–4 points, and [aluminum profile bundle tying machines](https://www.fhopepack.com/videos/aluminum-profile-bundle-tying-machines/) for strapping.

Lista de verificación de selección

1. Profile or pack width, height, length and weight.
2. Paper, film or both, and overlap.
3. Packs per hour.
4. End taping and stacking.
5. Single profiles or bundles.

Seguridad: EN 415-10 e ISO 12100

We design the line to EN 415-10 and assess its risks to ISO 12100. The main hazards are the two turning rings and the powered rollers. Each ring runs inside a yellow mesh guard, and the guard door stops the machine when it is opened.

Preguntas frecuentes sobre ingeniería

Q: Why two rings?
A: The first lays paper against the finish, the second seals it under film, in one pass.

Q: What limits the speed?
A: The ring speed and film width set the top conveyor speed for a given overlap.

Q: Can it wrap small bundles?
A: Yes, packs up to 250 × 200 mm and 100 kg.

P: ¿Qué norma se aplica?
A: EN 415-10 for the machine, and ISO 12100 for the risk assessment.
