Why wrap and hang a coil
A large wire coil is heavy to move and its surface marks easily, so it needs a protective film and a way to leave the machine without rolling it by hand. Wrapping and hanging in one system saves a handling step.
A wrapped coil hangs cleanly on a hook or lifting beam for crane take-away. Coil range is confirmed per project.

The system wraps and unloads large wire coils. The coil sits on a yellow support platform, bottom rollers turn it while the wrapping head lays film over the surface, and a hanging device takes the wrapped coil from the machine for unloading.

Support platform and rollers
The coil rests on a support platform with driven rollers at the base. The rollers turn the coil steadily so the film reaches the full outer surface.
A wide supporting platform holds a large-heavy coil level while it rotates. Platform width and coil weight are confirmed per project.
Wrapping cycle and unloading
As the coil turns, a wrapping head feeds film over the outer diameter in a spiral or band pattern. A spiral wrap is used for full surface cover and a band pattern for spaced holding, selected per project; either keeps the surface clean and the outer turns in place.
When the cover is complete, a hanging device on the chain line takes the coil from the platform. The wrapped coil is lifted and moved for unloading without manual rolling, and hanging the coil straight from the wrap station keeps the take-away quick.
