Embalaje de perfiles de aluminio: Soluciones para la industria

Resumen ejecutivo

Aluminum profiles leave the extrusion line with finished surfaces that scratch easily. An automatic paper or plastic sheet covering machine draws a sheet from the roll, cuts it to length, folds it around the profile bundle and tapes it shut. This page covers how the covering station works, how to size the sheet and what to check before you buy.

A white paper roll sits on a shaft at the head of a long covering table. The sheet is drawn flat along the full table length, ready for the profile bundle to be laid on top.

Why cover profiles with paper or film

Anodised, powder-coated and mill-finish profiles all mark when they rub against each other or against straps. A full paper or PE sheet around the bundle keeps dust off and stops scuffing in the truck. Covering by hand needs two or three workers per bundle, and the folds come out uneven. We build the covering machine to do the drawing, cutting, folding and taping in one sequence.

How the covering machine works

  1. Reunir: the feeding table collects single profiles or a bundle and feeds it to the covering station.
  2. Dibujar: the paper roll feeding device clamps the sheet head and pulls it across the station.
  3. Corte: the sheet is cut to the set length.
  4. Laico: the bundle is placed on top of the sheet.
  5. Doblez: belt holding devices raise and turn, folding the sheet around the bundle.
  6. Tape and unload: tape is applied at 3–4 positions to fix the package, and the unloading device moves it to the out-feed conveyor.

We set the sheet length on the touch screen for each profile length, so one machine runs every length your press makes.

Materiales de cobertura

Material Uso típico
Kraft or white paper General protection, easy to recycle
Hoja de PE Moisture protection for export
Junta Directiva Extra edge and impact protection

Ancho de hoja

Sheet width = 2 × (bundle width + bundle height) + overlap. For a 100 × 80 mm bundle with a 50 mm overlap: 2 × 180 + 50 = 410 mm (example only).

Bundle W × H superposición Ancho de hoja
100 × 80 mm 50 mm 410 mm
200 × 100 mm 50 mm 650 mm
300 × 150 mm 50 mm 950 mm

Choose the roll width from the largest bundle you run. The roll range for your profiles is confirmed at quote.

Lista de verificación de selección

  1. Profile cross-section and length range?
  2. Single profiles or bundles, and bundle size?
  3. Paper, PE sheet or board?
  4. Target bundles per hour to match the extrusion run-out?
  5. Tape positions per bundle?
  6. Link to stacking, strapping or wrapping after covering?

Seguridad

We design the machine to EN ISO 12100:2010 for risk assessment, EN 415-10 for packaging machine safety and EN 60204-1 for electrical equipment. The cutter, the folding belts and the moving bundle are the main hazards. Guard the cutter, keep the emergency stop within reach of the panel and lock out power before changing the roll.

Preguntas frecuentes sobre ingeniería

Q: Can it cover single profiles as well as bundles? A: Yes, single profiles or profile bundles.

Q: Can I switch between paper and PE sheet? A: Yes; the operator changes the roll and resets the sheet length on the touch screen. The same folding belts handle paper, PE sheet and board.

Q: How is the package fixed? A: The taping unit applies tape at 3–4 positions along the bundle; the number of positions is set by profile length.

Q: Does it connect to the rest of the line? A: Yes, the feeding table and unloading device link to upstream and downstream conveyors.
