Resumen ejecutivo The automatic bag making and shrining machine forms a PE shrink bag around an aluminum profile bundle and heat-seals it in one line. The standard configuration covers profile lengths from 1000 to 8000 mm, runs at 8 to 15 cycles per minute, and seals at 120 to 200°C with a PLC + HMI control. This guide covers the line stages, the parameter table, and the film and shrink setup points.

Qué hace el sistema
The machine turns aluminum profile bundles into heat-sealed shrink packs in a continuous sequence. An automated film applicator and bag packing line feeds PE film off a reel, a bag-forming station shapes it around the bundle, and a sealing bar closes the seam. The pack then passes through a shrink tunnel that tightens the film against the profile surfaces.
The film is applied without touching the profiles until it shrinks in the tunnel, so anodized and painted surfaces come away without scuffs from the packaging step. Sealing and tunnel settings are stored as recipes, which lets the line switch between profile sizes without re-programming every changeover.
Cobertura de perfil
The standard machine suits profile lengths from 1000 to 8000 mm, and extended layouts reach 12000 mm on request. Bundle width and height adapt to the profile configuration rather than being fixed, and the standard weight limit is 15 kg per bundle, with heavy-duty variants rated for 25 to 50 kg. The tunnel length and weight-class selection are confirmed per project, matched to your line speed and bundle mass.
Arquitectura lineal
The line is arranged as four stations under one PLC + HMI control.
| Componente | Función |
|---|---|
| desenrollado de la película | feeds PE film with adjustable tension, 300 to 800 mm film width |
| Formación de bolsas | shapes film around the bundle, servo-driven, ±2 mm positioning |
| Barra de sellado | closes the bag, 120 to 200°C, PLC controlled |
| Túnel de encogimiento | applies heat, adjustable conveyor 0 to 15 m/min |

Film and shrink setup
PE shrink film lives with this machine day to day. Bundle the standard gauge at 30 to 80 µm, and step up to 100 µm for heavy-duty packs. Use cross-linked PE or POF where bundles are heavy or stored outdoors, for the puncture resistance and UV stability they add.
Two temperatures are set independently, and keeping them apart avoids process faults:
| punto de ajuste | Objeto | Valor típico |
|---|---|---|
| Barra de sellado | closes the bag seam | 120 a 200 ° C |
| Túnel de encogimiento | tightens film on the bundle | 140 a 180 ° C |
For complex profile cross-sections, pre-heat the tunnel to 160 to 180°C before the first pass so the film contracts evenly without stress points. Test with sample bundles before full production to fix the conveyor speed and temperature pair.
Applications and finishes
- Architectural aluminium: window frames, door profiles, curtain wall systems.
- Industrial extrusions: heat sinks, rail systems, structural components.
- Automotive profiles: trims, chassis components, decorative elements.
- Solar panel frames: aluminium mounting structures.
- HVAC ductwork: rectangular and circular aluminium duct sections.
The line handles anodized, powder-coated, PVDF and mill-finish surfaces without leaving marks from the packaging step. Where shrink packaging must be compared against a stretch wrapping alternative, see the aluminium profile stretch wrapping machine for long loads.
Lista de verificación para la selección de máquinas
Work through these points before you request a quote, and we confirm the rest per project.

| Películas | PE micron and whether cross-linked or POF needed |
| Velocidad | target cycles per minute |
| Túnel | tunnel length for your shop layout |
| Sistema eléctrico | voltaje y frecuencia en el sitio |
| Termine | anodized, coated or PVDF sensitivity checks |
Caracteristicas de seguridad
The sealing and tunnel stations are the hot and moving points, so the machine is protected where work happens. Light curtains guard access across the line, emergency stops are within reach at each station, and the design follows CE machinery requirements.
Keep the tunnel entrance clear during continuous running, and let the sealing bar cool before cleaning.
Mantenimiento y formación
We split upkeep into a simple routine: daily, clean the sealing bars and check film alignment; weekly, inspect the conveyor belts and lubricate moving parts; monthly, calibrate the temperature sensors and verify the PLC parameters. With that schedule the expected MTBF exceeds 8000 operating hours.
Operator training takes 2 to 4 hours and covers HMI use, routine maintenance and the safety routine, so a new operator handles the line in part of a shift.
Preguntas frecuentes sobre ingeniería
Q: What shrink film works for aluminium profiles? A: PE shrink film at 30 to 80 µm covers typical bundles. For heavy bundles or outdoor storage, use cross-linked PE or POF for puncture and UV resistance.
Q: Can the line switch between profile lengths? A: Yes. The PLC stores 50 or more recipes, and changeover with pre-saved parameters is under 5 minutes.
Q: How does tunnel temperature affect the pack? A: Keep the tunnel between 140 and 180°C. Too low leaves the film loose; too high risks tearing or surface damage. PID control holds ±2°C.
Q: What is the cycle rate? A: 8 to 15 cycles per minute, configurable to the production line.
Q: What training is needed? A: No specialized programming skills are required. A standard 2 to 4 hour commissioning covers recipe recall, film reel rethreading and safety resets, with manuals and video tutorials provided.
Q: What maintenance keeps it reliable? A: Daily seal-bar cleaning and film alignment, weekly conveyor checks and lubrication, monthly sensor calibration, with MTBF above 8000 hours.
Q: What finishes can the line process without scuffs? A: Anodized, powder-coated, PVDF and mill-finish surfaces all pass clean, because the film shapes around the bundle without rubbing profiles before shrinking.
Q: What air and power does the line need? A: 380 V / 50 Hz, configurable from 220 to 480 V 50/60 Hz, and a pneumatic supply of 0.5 to 0.8 MPa.
