Omsnoerings- en opzaklijn voor PVC-buizen

Samenvatting

PVC and PPR pipe is sold by the bundle, and a bundle that is short-counted, loose or unbagged costs the plant in claims and dirty pipe. Our PVC pipe strapping and bagging line counts the pipes, shapes them into a tight bundle, straps it and pushes it into a welded film bag, so every bundle leaves the line counted, closed and clean.

White PVC pipes run along a long white-framed line with blue conveyors, run from a touch-screen panel at the bagging station. An operator works beside the out-feed, and the finished pipes come off sealed in clear film bags.

Inhoudsopgave

Why strap and bag

Straps hold the bundle shape so the pipes do not slide out when the bundle is lifted. The bag keeps dust, sand and sunlight off the pipe surface and the pipe bores clean, which matters for drinking-water pipe. Together they give a bundle that can be stacked in the yard and handled on site without the pipes scattering.

Regelvolgorde

  1. Pipes are fed from the cutter onto the collecting table.
  2. The counting and shaping device builds the bundle.
  3. The strapping machine straps the bundle at the set positions.
  4. The film is welded into a bag sized for the bundle.
  5. The bundle is pushed into the bag and the bag is sealed.
  6. The bagged bundle is labelled with a barcode and tilted out.

Bundle shape and pipe count

Round pipes pack naturally into a hexagon. For a hexagonal bundle with n pipes on each side:

Pipes per bundle = 3n(n − 1) + 1

Bundle width across flats ≈ (2n − 1) × pipe OD

Example only: 32 mm pipe with 3 pipes per side gives 3 × 3 × 2 + 1 = 19 pipes. The bundle is about 5 × 32 = 160 mm across, inside the 110–260 mm bundle range. Square and rectangular bundles are also set in the program when the customer counts pipes in rows.

Bag grootte

Bag length ≈ pipe length + 2 × end overhang

Example only: 6 m pipes with 150 mm of bag at each end need about 6,000 + 2 × 150 = 6,300 mm of bag. The bag width is set to the bundle outline plus clearance, so the bundle slides in without tearing the film.

Machinegegevens

Item Waarde
Bundel OD 110 – 260 mm
Cyclus 1-3 bundels per minuut
Film welded PE or PP
Luchttoevoer 7-8 bar
Power 380 V, 50 Hz
opties strapping before bagging, barcode labelling

Cycle rate check

Bundles per minute needed = pipes per minute from the cutter ÷ pipes per bundle

Example only: an extrusion line cutting 38 pipes per minute in bundles of 19 needs 38 ÷ 19 = 2 bundles per minute, inside the 1–3 range. Small pipe at high speed may need larger bundles or a second bagger, confirmed at quote.

Selectie checklist

  1. Pipe OD range and lengths.
  2. Pipes per bundle and bundle shape.
  3. Cutter output in pipes per minute.
  4. Number and position of straps.
  5. PE or PP film.
  6. Etiket- en barcodeformaat.

Veiligheid

We design to EN ISO 12100:2010 for risk assessment, EN 415-8 for the strapping machine, EN 415-10 for the bagging machine and EN 60204-1 for the electrical equipment. The pusher and sealing stations are guarded.

Veelgestelde vragen over techniek

Q: Can one line bag single pipes and bundles? A: Yes. Bags are made per single pipe or per bundle.

Q: How many bundles per minute? A: 1–3, depending on bundle size.

Q: Can straps be skipped? A: Yes, strapping is an option before bagging.

Q: Is labelling included? A: A barcode labeller is an option.
