Why molds need a lift table flip
Molds and large castings are heavy, and turning one with cranes and slings is slow and genuinely risky: the load can swing, and the crew is exposed to weight they cannot control. A lift table flip changes the mold under power on its platform instead of hanging it from a hook.
The mold stays in place through the tilt, so the motion is controlled and repeatable. Mold handling stops depending on the crane for every change of orientation. Mold range and flip travel are confirmed per project.

The flip cycle

The folding cover
A folding, bellows-style cover sits alongside the platform and moves with the tilt, fanning out to shield the rotating area as the platform changes angle. Keeping the moving zone covered reduces the exposed pinch and catches nothing beside it.
The cover follows the platform through the full cycle. Its travel is matched to the flip so the zone stays shielded from the horizontal to the tilted position. Cover travel is confirmed per project.

Operação e segurança
Place the mold on the platform, then run the flip from the panel and the machine tilts it under power. Keep clear of the platform, folding cover and mold path while the machine runs, with guarding and emergency stops at the operator position. The cover shields the moving zone through the cycle.
Routine checks cover the platform drive, tilt mechanism, cover, sensors and control, per the machine manual. Confirm the flip against the mold before each run so molds tilt without damage.
