Why upend and turn a coil
A coil travels flat on a conveyor or stands upright for storage, and it often has to switch between the two before the next process. Lifting and rolling a heavy coil by hand is slow and risky. Upending and turning on a machine holds the load and changes its orientation in a controlled pass.
Doing the turn on a tilting platform removes the manual lift and keeps the coil stable through the movement. Coil width, diameter and weight are confirmed per project.
Mit csinál a gép
The machine is a floor-base coil upender built around a tilting platform. The platform lies flat to receive the work, then tilts back toward the vertical position to bring the coil upright, and returns to horizontal in a controlled pass.
The turn happens on the machine, so the coil is not lifted by hand during the change. Platform size and turning travel are confirmed per project.
Tilting platform and drive
The main structure is a painted metal platform mounted on a floor base, driven from below the platform by the machine drive. A metal mesh guard stands around the front and sides of the work area, with the control panel on the right.
The control panel carries the push buttons and indicator lamps for the cycle. Platform width, base layout and guard position are confirmed per project.

The operator starts and stops the cycle from the control panel on the right. The platform tilts back from horizontal toward vertical, holds, then returns to horizontal for loading or removal.
Red and green indicator lamps on the panel show the running state while the platform moves. The cycle is started and stopped at the panel, per project.

Our footage shows the red machine completing the tilt and return on an empty platform: the platform swings from horizontal toward vertical, then returns to horizontal. During the stand-still an operator steps up to the control panel and operates the buttons. No work is loaded in the demonstration, so the supported coil range is confirmed with us per project.

Működés és biztonság
Place the coil flat on the platform, start the cycle from the control panel, and let the platform bring the work to the required position. Keep away from the platform and the guard opening while it is moving, and do not enter the guarded area during the cycle.
Routine checks cover the drive, the tilting platform and the control panel, per the machine manual. Confirm the work is seated on the platform before each pass.
