Was der Clip zeigt, in der Reihenfolge

Die Verpackungsanlage besteht aus einem schwarzen Stahlrahmen mit zwei Säulen und einem oberen Träger, an dessen Ende sich ein gelber Dreharm mit dem Folienwagen befindet. Ein gelber Maschendrahtzaun umgibt die Zelle. Die Ladung besteht aus einem Stapel Kartons auf einer Holzpalette.

1. **0 to about 4 s.** The arm is parked above the stack and nothing moves.
2. **About 6 to 10 s.** The arm starts to swing round and the film carriage moves down toward the side of the stack. A person in a blue vest appears at the right-hand column.
3. **About 12 to 22 s.** The arm carries on round the stack, laying film onto the sides while the person stands by the right-hand column.
4. **About 24 to 28 s.** The arm returns to its parked position and the cell is at rest.
5. **About 30 to 38 s.** The cell is at rest with the arm parked over the pallet.
6. **About 40 to 46 s.** A second wrap starts: the arm swings round and the film covers most of the sides.
7. **About 48 to 50 s.** The arm swings back and rises clear. A person enters through the opened gate in the fence on the right while the arm is still moving.

Warum ein Dreharm anstelle eines Drehtellers?

Bei einer Drehteller-Wickelmaschine dreht sich die Palette, der Folienwagen bleibt aber auf seinem Mast. Bei einer Rotationsarm-Wickelmaschine bleibt die Palette still, und der Arm führt die Folie um sie herum. Das ist wichtig, wenn:

– **The load is light or tall.** A spinning turntable throws an unstable stack outward; a still pallet does not move.
– **The load is heavy.** The arm does not have to accelerate the load, so the load weight does not limit the wrap speed.
– **The pallet arrives on a conveyor or by pallet truck.** No turntable step to climb, and the floor stays level.

Die beiden Zyklen unterscheiden sich dadurch, dass das Wickelprogramm die Anzahl der unteren, mittleren und oberen Wicklungen festlegt; bei unserer R100 kann jede von 0 bis 99 eingestellt werden.

Taktprüfung

Die R100 ist für 35 Paletten pro Stunde ausgelegt, was einem Takt von 3,600 ÷ 35 bzw. ca. 103 Sekunden pro Palette entspricht. Bei 10 bis 14 U/min entspricht die 10 bis 18 Sekunden dauernde Armbewegung am Clip nur wenigen Umdrehungen, einem kurzen Wickelvorgang. Ein komplettes Programm für Boden, Mitte und Oberseite einer 2,300 mm hohen Ladung dauert länger und lässt dennoch innerhalb des Takts freie Zeit.

Der Hubwagen oder Gabelstapler nutzt diese freie Zeit, um die Palette heranzufahren, die Folie anzubringen und die Palette wieder abzutransportieren. Bei höherer Umschlagsgeschwindigkeit ist die Palettenhandhabung der Engpass, nicht der Hubarm. Daher ist eine Förderbandzuführung der nächste Schritt.

Kontrollen und Sicherheit

Der Schwenkbereich des Filmtransportarms und des Filmwagens stellt die Gefahrenzone dar, die durch den Zaun geschützt wird. Personen, die nach etwa 48 bis 50 Sekunden durch das geöffnete Tor eintreten, während sich der Arm noch bewegt, stellen eine potenzielle Gefahrenquelle dar. Eine Torverriegelung, die den Arm beim Öffnen des Tors stoppt, ist Bestandteil der Risikobewertung, die wir gemeinsam mit Ihnen durchführen.

Die Verpackungsmaschine muss gestoppt, isoliert und gesperrt werden, bevor jemand den Zaun betritt, um die Ladung anzupassen, Folie anzubringen oder am Arm zu arbeiten. Die Antikollisionsvorrichtung am Arm ist eine letzte Sicherheitsmaßnahme und ersetzt weder den Zaun noch die Sperre.

Die anzuwendenden Normen hängen vom Zielmarkt ab. Für CE-Märkte regelt EN 415-6 Palettenwickelmaschinen, während ISO 12100 die Risikobewertungsmethode festlegt und die Schutzvorrichtungen sowie die Not-Aus-Einrichtung regelt.
