Warum sowohl die Oberseite als auch die Seiten abdecken?
Eine alleinige Seitenversiegelung lässt die Oberseite ungeschützt Staub, Tropfen und Kondenswasser ausgesetzt. Bei Kartons, die in feuchten Lagerhallen gelagert oder in offenen Lkw transportiert werden, beginnt die Beschädigung genau an dieser offenen Oberseite.
Eine Deckfolie verschließt die Verpackung. Sobald die Seitenfolie über die Kanten gewickelt ist, ist die Ladung an fünf Seiten versiegelt und bleibt während Lagerung und Transport sauber.
Warum sich der Arm dreht und die Last nicht
Bei dieser Linie fährt der Folienwagen auf einem Arm, der die Palette umkreist. Die Ladung bleibt auf dem Förderband ruhig, sodass hohe Kartonstapel und lose obere Lagen durch die Rotation nicht nach außen geschleudert werden.
Dadurch bleibt die Produktionslinie auch einfach. Derselbe Rollenförderer transportiert die Palette hinein, hält sie während des Wickelvorgangs fest und transportiert sie wieder hinaus – ohne Drehteller, der anhalten und ausgerichtet werden muss.
Die Abdeckungs- und Wickelsequenz auf der Linie
1. **Infeed.** The loaded pallet runs in on the line conveyor, and a sensor identifies it and measures its height.
2. **Cover.** The integrated top sheet device draws a PE sheet over the top of the load. The length laid down is set per programme.
3. **Press.** The scissor top press comes down on the sheet and holds it, and the top cartons, in place.
4. **Wrap.** The arm circles the load while the carriage runs up and down, laying pre-stretched film round the sides and over the sheet's edges.
5. **Cut.** The film is fed and cut automatically at the end of the cycle.
6. **Outfeed.** The press lifts, and the covered pallet runs on down the line.
Was die Scherenpresse bewirkt
Die lose Deckfolie hebt sich und flattert, wenn die Folie um die Ladung gezogen wird. Die Pressplatte liegt auf der Folie auf, sodass diese flach und zentriert bleibt, bis die erste Seitenwicklung ihre Kanten umschließt.

Beispielrechnung: Deckblattgröße und ein Programm, das zur Linie passt
Nehmen wir eine 1,200 × 1,000 mm große Palette, die 1,500 mm hoch mit Kartons beladen ist, und eine Produktionslinie, die 40 Paletten pro Stunde ausliefert. Die oberste Folie soll an jeder Seite 200 mm überstehen, und es soll 500 mm breite Folie verwendet werden. Dies sind beispielhafte Kundendaten.
**Top sheet.** The sheet must be 1,200 + 2 × 200 = 1,600 mm by 1,000 + 2 × 200 = 1,400 mm, or 2.24 m². The side film traps the whole overhang against the cartons.
**Turns per programme.** At 50% overlap the carriage climbs 250 mm per turn, so 1,500 mm takes 6 turns each way. Add 3 base winds and 3 top winds over the sheet edge.

**Line rate.** At 40 pallets per hour each pallet has 3,600 ÷ 40 = 90 s in the station. Transfer, sheet, press and cut take time t, so the wrap must fit in 90 − t. At the 12 rpm top of the speed range, up-and-down takes 90 s and leaves nothing. Up-only takes 60 s and leaves 30 s for t. We measure t on your line before fixing the programme.
**Film.** The load perimeter is 2 × (1.2 + 1.0) = 4.4 m. Up-only lays 12 × 4.4 = 52.8 m on the load. At 200% pre-stretch that is 52.8 ÷ 3 = 17.6 m drawn off the roll.

Sicherheit und EN 415-6
We design the RAS200 to EN 415-6 for pallet wrapping machines, with an ISO 12100 risk assessment. The circling arm, the descending top press and the conveyor rollers are the main hazards. Single start, reset and emergency stop buttons are standard. Fence the station so nobody can enter the arm's path while the cycle runs, and protect the conveyor openings in the fence.

Q: Can the top sheet length change between products?
A: Yes. The sheet length is set in each wrapping programme.
Q: Does it need an operator?
A: Only to change film rolls and sheet rolls. Feeding, wrapping and cutting are automatic.
Q: Will it wrap the wooden pallet base too?
A: With the pneumatic pallet lifter option, the film wraps the base completely.
