This packing line carries coils on driven rollers under a gantry to an integrated wrapping unit, where clamps and a wrapping mechanism secure the pack in an automatic cycle controlled by PLC and HMI. Why automatic coil packing
A steel coil or strip pack is heavy and its edges scratch easily, and lifting or wrapping it by hand takes crew time on the line. Automatic packing keeps the wrap consistent and the operators at a safe distance.
A line that carries, positions and wraps the pack in one flow raises output without extra handling. Coil range is confirmed per project.
Co dělá linka
The line packs steel coils and strip packs in an automatic cycle. The pack moves in on driven rollers under a yellow gantry, stops at an integrated packing unit, and clamps and a wrapping mechanism secure the outer cover under PLC and HMI control.
The operator starts the cycle from a touch panel and the line runs the pack through to the outfeed. Wrap material and cycle time are confirmed per project.
Roller conveyor and gantry
Parallel yellow roller conveyors carry the coil into the line, with chain flights helping keep the pack positioned. A gantry over the line carries the upper structure and monitoring units.
The rollers turn the pack steadily as it moves to the packing unit. Conveyor height and pack spacing are confirmed per project.
Integrated packing unit
At the packing unit, clamps hold the coil in place while a wrapping mechanism applies the cover to the outer diameter or the pack as configured. The cycle runs automatically from the touch panel and stops when the pack is secured.
Clamps and wrapping are sized to the coil range so the pack is held without shifting. Clamp stroke and wrap pattern are confirmed per project.

Provoz a bezpečnost
Set the cycle on the touch panel and feed the coil onto the rollers. The line carries the pack into the packing unit, applies the cover and sends it to the outfeed while the operator supervises. Keep clear of the rollers and the packing unit while the line runs.
Routine checks cover the rollers, the clamps and the wrapping unit, per the machine manual. Confirm the pack position before each cycle.
