Why a mechanical coil tilter
Large coils are heavy and awkward to move, and turning one by hand or with a sling takes time and adds risk. A mechanical tilter does the turn with the coil resting on the platform, so the change from horizontal to vertical is controlled and repeatable.
Coils that arrive lying flat for transport or storage can be stood upright for feeding or the next process. Coil weight and tilt angle are confirmed per project.

The machine is a floor-mounted tilter with a tilt platform that carries a large coil. A coil is placed flat on the platform, and the machine raises one end so the coil comes to the vertical position.

How it works: tilt platform, arm and drive layout
The coil rests on a tilt platform at the centre of the machine. A driven arm and a rack-style drive under the platform carry the load as it lifts, and the base under the machine houses the drive and the cycle.
Support blocks at the base hold the machine level, and a control box is mounted on the base. The drive arrangement and platform width are set to the coil and confirmed per project.
