Why corner-protect a pallet load
The corners of a pallet load take the first knock in storage and transit, and film alone leaves the edges exposed. Corner protectors spread the load at the edges while the film holds the unit together.
Applying the film and the protectors on the same machine keeps the two steps in one sequence instead of two workstations. Load size and corner protection are confirmed per project.

The machine is an automatic pallet wrapping unit with a corner protector applicator. A load on its pallet is placed at the centre of the machine. A top film arm lays film over the top, a separate arm places corner protectors on the corners, and the rotating frame wraps film around the unit.
The wrapped load is carried out on the conveyor below. Load size and film grade are confirmed per project.
Film arm and corner applicator
A moving film arm above the load pays out film from a roll and lays a cover over the top. A second arm with a gripper takes corner protectors from a side rack and sets them on the four corners of the load.
The machine frame then rotates while the wrapping arm travels, so the film is laid around the load and the protectors in one pass. Film width and corner protector length are confirmed per project.
Ciclo di avvolgimento e controllo
The cycle runs from load-in to load-out. The load is placed on the pallet, the top film is applied, the corner protectors are set, the wrapped film covers the sides, and the load is carried out.
A control cabinet beside the machine carries the screen and the push buttons for the sequence, and a warning mark on the frame marks the electrical enclosure. Cycle time and film tension are confirmed per project.

Funzionamento e sicurezza
Place the palletised load at the centre, start the cycle, and supervise the top film, corner protectors and wrap until the load is carried out. Keep clear of the rotating frame and the moving arms while the machine runs.
Routine checks cover the film arm, the corner arm, the rack and the conveyor, per the machine manual. Confirm the load is squared on its pallet before each cycle.
