Sintesi
An online labeling, sealing and shrinking machine labels each product, seals it in shrink film and shrinks the film tight, all in the production line with no one handling the product. It suits rolls, boxes and packs that need a label and a clean, dust-proof wrap. Our equivalent solution combines a labeler with a motion sealer and shrink tunnel. This page explains the order of the stations, how to check that a product fits, and how to work out film use.
White paper or nonwoven rolls with a center hole move along a roller conveyor. Pneumatic grippers and guide plates square each roll, then clear film is fed around it and sealed. The roll passes under a red heating hood where the film shrinks tight, and orange mesh fencing closes off the seal and shrink area. A barcode label sits on each product.

Why label and shrink in line
Done offline, labeling and wrapping need people to pick, stack and re-feed every product. In line, each product is labeled and wrapped as it leaves production. Labels match the product, nothing piles up, and the wrap keeps dust off rolls of tissue, nonwoven or film from the first minute.
Le stazioni in ordine
- Infeed and positioning: guides and grippers align and center the product on the conveyor.
- etichettatura: a labeler applies the barcode or product label at a set position.
- Guarnizione: a motion sealer wraps center-folded film around the product and seals and cuts it while it moves.
- Restringimento: a hot-air tunnel shrinks the film tight.
- Cooling and outfeed: the pack cools on the conveyor before stacking or boxing.
Film length is set by an electric eye and timer, so each pack gets the same amount of film.
Label under or over the film
| Posizione dell'etichetta | Buono per | Stai attento |
|---|---|---|
| Sotto il film | protects the label from scuffs and moisture | scanner must read through film; avoid glare |
| Over the film | easy scanning, no film glare | label must stick to shrink film; apply after cooling |
For rolls that go to retail, under the film keeps the label clean. For logistics labels scanned many times, over the film is easier.
Reference figures
For our equivalent motion sealer and tunnel:
| Articolo | MO-350 | MO-600 |
|---|---|---|
| Larghezza di tenuta | Fino a 350 mm | Fino a 600 mm |
| Altezza di tenuta | Fino a 200 mm | Fino a 250 mm |
| Max film | 580 mm di larghezza, 280 mm di diametro esterno | 860 mm di larghezza, 280 mm di diametro esterno |
| Potenza | 10.5kW | 12.5kW |
| Aria | fino a 0.5 MPa | fino a 0.5 MPa |
| Peso | 600 kg | 900 kg |
Both run on 380 V 50–60 Hz 3 phase at a working height of 780–820 mm. Film is center-folded POF or PE, and the tunnel conveyor uses chains with rotating silicone-coated rods. On the MO-350, product width plus height must be 400 mm or less. Labeler type and line speed are confirmed at quote.
Will my product fit?
Check three things: width against sealing width, height against sealing height, and width plus height against the product limit. A roll of 250 mm diameter and 150 mm high, lying flat (example only):
| Vedi | Valore | MO-350 limit | Risultato |
|---|---|---|---|
| Larghezza | 250 mm | 350 mm | si adatta |
| Altezza | 150 mm | 200 mm | si adatta |
| Larghezza + altezza | 250 + 150 = 400 mm | 400 mm | al limite |
A product right at the limit fits but leaves no margin. A larger roll goes to the MO-600.
Film use per pack
Center-folded film width ≈ product width + height + allowance. Film length per pack ≈ product length + height + allowance. With a 50 mm allowance for the example roll: film width 250 + 150 + 50 = 450 mm, inside the 580 mm limit, and film length 250 + 150 + 50 = 450 mm per pack. Multiply by packs per year and film weight per meter for your film budget.
Lista di controllo per la selezione
- Product sizes, and the largest one?
- Packs per minute from your line?
- Label size, content and position?
- Under or over the film?
- Tipo e spessore della pellicola?
- What happens after the tunnel?
Sicurezza
The machine is designed to EN ISO 12100:2010 for risk assessment, EN 415-10 for packaging machine safety and EN 60204-1 for electrical equipment. The hot tunnel and the seal knife are the main hazards; high-temperature warnings and mesh fencing close off the area.
FAQ di ingegneria
Q: Can it label and wrap rolls with a center hole? A: Yes; the film seals around the roll and shrinks over the ends.
Q: Which film does it use? A: Center-folded POF or PE film.
Q: How do I know my product fits? A: Check width, height and width plus height against the model limits.
Q: Can the label go on after shrinking? A: Yes, the labeler can sit after the tunnel once the film has cooled.
