Résumé
Long flat metal products like copper sheets and bronze bars need their edges protected as they travel. This machine runs the bar along a roller conveyor while a spinning unit on the frame applies a protective material around the edge. The machine handles one long strip at a time, with the operator free to assist at the edge. Bar dimensions, material and wrap setup are confirmed per project.

Why flat bars need edge wrapping
Copper sheets and bronze bars have long exposed edges that pick up scratches, dents and oxidation in storage and transit. A protective material along the edge keeps the surface clean and stops the bar from marking the pieces stacked next to it.
Wrapping a long edge by hand is slow and hard to keep even over the full length. A machine that applies the material as the bar runs through gives every length the same coverage. Bar size and material are confirmed per project.
Ce que fait la machine
The machine is a roller-conveyor wrapping unit for long flat metal strips. The workpiece is placed on a blue roller conveyor and moves automatically from the feed side toward the machine. As it passes, a rotating unit on the yellow frame unwinds a roll of protective material and applies it around the edge of the strip. The wrapped bar then continues out at the far end.
The machine works with the material roll spinning against the moving strip, so coverage follows the edge along its full length. The wrap pattern and material width are confirmed per project.
The strip runs through
The footage shows one long strip moving from one end of the conveyor to the other. The strip stays level on the rollers, passes the wrapping unit, and comes out with the protective material applied to the edge. The same path repeats for the next bar.
Because the strip travels past a fixed wrapping unit, the machine suits long, flat, straight workpieces rather than objects it would have to rotate. The conveyor and support length are confirmed per project.
Operator-assisted finish
In parts of the clip an operator leans in by hand to lay the protective material onto the edge and finish the wrap. This shows that the machine can run with an operator assisting at the edge, which is typical for longer strips where a quick manual touch completes the coverage. The degree of assistance depends on the bar and is confirmed per project.
Ce que montrent les images
Our footage shows a copper and bronze bar wrapping machine applying a protective material to the edge of a long flat metal strip as it runs along a roller conveyor. It is a general demonstration, so your bar dimensions, material and wrap setup are confirmed with us per project.
Configuration typique
Les figures ci-dessous indiquent les limites de conception fonctionnelles plutôt que des valeurs numériques, et sont confirmées pour chaque projet.
| Paramètre | Plage de valeurs typique, confirmée par projet |
|---|---|
| Charge | long flat metal strip |
| Convoyeur | roller feed, in and out |
| enveloppe | edge applied, roll fed |
| Cadre métallique robuste | yellow and blue construction |
| Assistance | operator at the edge |
| alimentation électrique | 380 V triphasé 50 Hz ou 220 V monophasé pour les machines légères, selon le projet. |
Liste de contrôle de sélection
| Questionne toi | Confirmer par projet |
|---|---|
| Plage de charge | strip length, width, thickness |
| Source | type, largeur, tension |
| enveloppe | edge coverage, overlap |
| Convoyeur | width, feed speed |
| Assistance | full auto, semi-auto, manual, selected per project |
| alimentation électrique | tension, phase et fréquence sur site |
Fonctionnement et sécurité
Place the strip on the conveyor and start the feed; the bar travels past the wrapping unit under power. Keep clear of the rollers, the rotating roll and the edge path while the machine runs, with guarding around the moving parts.
Routine checks cover the conveyor drive, the rotating unit and the roll feed, per the machine manual. Confirm the material settings against the bar before each run.
FAQ technique
Q: What does this machine do? A: It applies a protective material along the edge of a long flat metal strip as it runs on a conveyor.
Q: Why wrap only the edge? A: The bar is covered along its length while staying flat on the rollers.
Q: Does it run hands-free? A: The strip feeds automatically; the operator can assist at the edge to finish the wrap.
Q: What does it suit? A: Copper sheets, bronze bars and similar long flat metal profiles.
Q: What does the footage prove? A: A full feed, edge wrap and outfeed cycle on one long strip in one continuous demonstration.
