Kokkuvõte
A pallet transfer changing machine moves a load from one pallet to another without tipping it. Our push-type pallet changer pushes the goods sideways off the old pallet onto a new one fed from a pallet magazine. It handles up to 55 pallets per hour and loads up to 1,000 kg, with goods up to 1,160 × 1,180 mm in plan.
On this test line a layer of cartons on a blue plastic pallet enters the transfer station between yellow guard fences. The goods are pushed across onto the next pallet, while a stack of empty blue pallets waits in the magazine and the operator runs the cycle from a handheld remote.

Why push instead of turn

A push-type machine keeps the goods upright the whole time. Cartons, bags and products with a “this way up” mark stay upright, and the line can run automatically at a high rate.

The frame is carbon steel. The destacker dispenses new pallets one at a time from a stack, and the stacker collects the empty old pallets. Neither machine breaks pallets up; they only separate and stack them.
The transfer cycle
- Söötmine. The loaded pallet arrives on the roller conveyor.
- Height and alignment check. Sensors check the load height and position. A load over 2,200 mm is sent to a higher conveyor section.
- New pallet ready. A new pallet is placed beside the load from the magazine. It is fed by AGV, one pallet or a stack of up to 10.
- Lükake. The pusher shifts the goods across onto the new pallet. The platform is built so the goods do not drag on the pallet boards.
- Old pallet out. The empty old pallet goes to the pallet stacker.
- Väljasööt. The load leaves on its new pallet. A warehouse control system (WCS) can route it to its destination.

Worked example: pallets per shift
A distribution centre changes pool pallets to its own plastic pallets in line.

Tulemus. About 370 changes a shift. The pallet destacker and old-pallet stacker must keep pace, so both are sized with the changer.

Pallet changing machines are covered by EN 415-10, with the risk assessment to ISO 12100:2010. The pusher, the conveyor nips and the stacking units are the main hazards. The transfer area is closed by guard fences, and the operator runs the machine from outside the fence. Light curtains at the infeed and outfeed openings and interlocked gates are agreed with the layout. Guarding and CE documents are agreed per project.

Q: Does the load get turned over? A: No. The goods stay upright and are pushed onto the new pallet.
Q: How fast is it? A: Up to 55 pallets per hour. The real rate depends on the load footprint, how easily the bottom cartons slide, and how fast the destacker can supply the next pallet.
Q: Can it handle timber and plastic pallets? A: Yes. The machine is adapted to the pallet sizes and types you use.
Q: Can it run without an operator? A: Yes. With conveyors, AGV pallet feed and a stacker, loading, changing, stacking and outfeed run automatically.
