Enfardadora Orbital Horizontal para motor y bandeja

Resumen ejecutivo Our E600 orbital stretch wrapper seals a motor and its tray together in one spiral of film, so the motor stays on the tray, clean and dry, from the line to the customer. The product rides through the ring on a roller conveyor and does not turn. The E600 takes packages 200 to 600 mm across, over 800 mm long and 20 to 200 kg. A worked example checks a motor on its tray against those limits and works out the film.

Why wrap the motor and tray together

A motor set loose on a cardboard tray can slide off when the tray is lifted, and its paint and terminals pick up dust and moisture in storage. Strapping holds it but leaves the surface open.

A spiral of stretch film round both pieces does both jobs. It ties the motor to the tray and seals the outside, and the tray stays underneath as a base for forks or a hand truck.

How a tray passes through the ring

  1. Entrada. The motor on its tray lies on the infeed roller conveyor, in single file.
  2. Detectar. Four position sensors follow the package from infeed to outfeed.
  3. Envoltura. The ring turns round the package as the conveyor carries it through. The package itself does not turn.
  4. Finalizar. At the end the film is cut and its tail secured on the package.
  5. Salida. The sealed package leaves on the outfeed conveyor.

Ring speed and conveyor speed are both set on the touch screen, so one machine can run motors of different sizes.

Holding a short, heavy package steady

A short package spends part of its pass with one end off the conveyor. Film tension pulls on it every turn, so it can tip or swing out of line.

A heavy motor on a flat tray is held down by its own weight. Guide blocks on both sides of the conveyor keep the tray centred as it enters the ring, and they are set by hand for each tray width.

For lighter or taller packages the E600 adds hold-downs. A top press with a soft face holds the package without marking it. Two press-down devices, on the infeed and outfeed conveyors, hold it as it crosses the gap at the ring. Their action times are set in the program.

Worked example: a motor on a cardboard tray

Take a motor 900 mm long and 300 × 300 mm in section, weighing 80 kg. It sits on a cardboard tray 900 × 320 mm and 20 mm thick. We wrap with 200 mm film at 50% overlap. These are illustrative customer figures.

Size through the ring. The package section is 320 mm wide by 300 + 20 = 320 mm high. Its diagonal is √(320² + 320²) = 453 mm, inside the 600 mm limit.

Longitud The package is 900 mm long, just over the 800 mm minimum. A 700 mm motor would need a tray of at least 800 mm to give the press-down devices something to hold.

De peso. At 80 kg, the motor and tray sit inside the 20 to 200 kg range.

Pitch and speed. At 50% overlap the package moves 200 × 0.5 = 100 mm per ring turn. The conveyor speed is v = n × 0.1 m/min at ring speed n. The ring turns at 10 to 90 r/min and the conveyor runs at 3 to 12 m/min, so at this pitch n runs from 30 to 90 r/min, or 3 to 9 m/min. The 0.9 m package then passes in 0.9 ÷ 9 × 60 = 6 s to 0.9 ÷ 3 × 60 = 18 s, plus the end wraps. We set n for your output.

Película. The section perimeter is 2 × (0.32 + 0.32) = 1.28 m. The 900 mm length takes 900 ÷ 100 = 9 turns, or about 9 × 1.28 = 11.5 m of film laid on the package, plus the end wraps. Film drawn off the roll is less, by the stretch the tension carriage applies; we confirm it in a test wrap.

Lista de selección: qué enviarnos

  1. Motor length, width and height.
  2. Tray size and material.
  3. Weight of the motor with its tray.
  4. Packages per hour.
  5. Superficies que no deben marcarse.
  6. Film, paper or woven wrap, and its width.

Seguridad y EN 415-10

We design the E600 to EN 415-10 for packaging machines, with an ISO 12100 risk assessment. The turning ring, the press devices and the conveyor in-running points are the main hazards. A protection shield covers the moving parts, and the wrapping station is guarded or curtained. Stop the machine before clearing a package caught at the ring.

Preguntas frecuentes sobre ingeniería

Q: Can it wrap motors without a tray? A: Yes, if the motor alone is over 800 mm long and 20 kg, and sits stable on the rollers.

Q: Does every motor need the top press? A: No. Heavy motors on flat trays are held by their weight and the side guides. The soft-faced top press is for light or tall packages.

Q: Can it weigh the packages too? A: Scales are an option and can share data with your ERP system.

Q: Which safety standards apply? A: In CE markets, EN 415-10 for the machine and ISO 12100 for the risk assessment.
