Why rods need a machine wrap
Long rods and bars have long exposed surfaces that pick up marks and hold onto moisture. A stretch film wrap keeps the surface clean and gives bundles a uniform finish.
Hand wrapping a long rod is slow and never even from end to end. A machine that applies film as the bar runs through gives the same spiral coverage along the full length. Rod size and length are confirmed per project.

The machine is a rod wrapping machine and stretch wrapper. A long workpiece enters from one side, passes through a wrapping unit with a circular opening in its frame, and picks up a stretch film wrap as it travels. The bar continues out to a press-roll section at the far end.
The footage shows the bar feeding through the machine with an operator standing by, and the wrapped bar leaving at the output. Bar feed and wrap are confirmed per project.
Spiral film along the bar
As the bar moves through the wrapping unit, film is applied in a spiral so the surface is covered band after band. The finished surface shows a clear, slightly folded film layer, which is what the spiral process leaves across the length of the rod.
The spiral lay means the film overlaps as the bar advances, giving continuous coverage. Film overlap and tension are confirmed per project.
Press rolls take the wrap on
When the bar reaches the output, white press rolls lower and push the wrapped bar forward off the machine. The press rolls keep the film laid tight as the bar exits, so the wrap reaches the end of the piece in one pass.
The press section completes the travel of the bar through the unit. Press roll travel and discharge are confirmed per project.

操作与安全
Feed the bar into the machine and the wrapping unit applies the spiral film under power. Keep clear of the feeding path, the wrapping unit opening and the press rolls while the machine runs, with guarding around the moving parts.
Routine checks cover the wrap drive, the film feed and the press rolls, per the machine manual. Confirm the film settings against the rod before each run.
