Why an arm wrapper with a top sheet is useful
An arm (rotary arm) wrapper wraps the load by rotating the film carriage around it, so the load does not need to turn. That is an advantage for heavy or unstable loads that should not spin on a turntable — the video shows the load staying in place while the arm travels up and down the mast.
The top sheet dispenser adds the second protection. A spiral film wrap covers the sides of a load, but the top is open unless a sheet is applied. For loads that need dust or moisture protection on top — bottle pallets, bagged products, and stacked cases — a top sheet closes the package. Combining the two on one machine means the load is wrapped and capped in a single cycle, without a separate top-sheet station.
