How bagging works

The entrance conveyor feeds the profiles continuously into the bagging station. Film is fed automatically and formed into an envelope with the profile inside it. The machine then heat-seals and cuts the film between pieces, and the outlet conveyor carries each bagged piece to discharge.

The result is a sealed bag around the profile rather than a spiral wrap, so the surface is fully enclosed. In our video, the sealed envelope carries a stainless steel bundle out of the bagging station on the outlet conveyor.

Bagging speed and output

These figures exclude feeding gaps and film roll changes. Feeding and the outlet conveyor are automatic, so the real limit is often how fast profiles arrive from upstream.

Sealing is smokeless and leaves no packing material residue. Changing the film roll is easy, and we confirm the roll size against your output.

Sensors and mechanical limit stoppers provide safety, and motors have over-current protection. The standards that apply depend on the destination market. For CE markets, ISO 12100 sets the risk-assessment method and EN 415-10 sets general requirements for packaging machines.
