avvolgitore orbitale con film a bolle

Sintesi

A bubble film orbital stretch wrapper packs a product in two layers in one line. A covering station closes bubble film round the product from rolls above and below, then an orbital wrapper spirals stretch film over it. Our machine takes products 900–2,400 mm long, 200–1,200 mm wide, 100–800 mm high and 20–100 kg, with the ring at about 10–60 r/min.

This line pairs white orbital wrappers on green belt conveyors with a bubble film covering station. The station holds one bubble film roll above and one below the conveyor and seals them in a frame. A flat product rides on the belt, and the control box sits on the ring frame.

Sommario

Why bubble film plus stretch film

Panels, doors, furniture parts, glass and finished profiles are damaged by knocks and by rubbing. Bubble film absorbs knocks but on its own is loose and tears at the corners. Stretch film holds the bubble layer tight, closes the package against dust and keeps it together through handling. Doing both in one line replaces two manual steps with one pass on the conveyor.

Bubble film covering station

  1. Posizione. A photocell detects the product and sets its position on the conveyor.
  2. Coprire. Bubble film comes from one roll above and one roll below the product, so the product enters between two webs.
  3. Sigillare e tagliare. A cross sealer, 1,400 mm long, with constant and precise temperature control, seals the two webs together across the leading and trailing ends and cuts the film. It is designed to seal bubble film without leaving film residue, with protection against a wrong cut. The long sides, where the two webs overlap, are then closed by the stretch wrap; side sealing for a fully sealed envelope is confirmed at quote.
  4. Trasferimento. The covered product runs on into the wrapping station. Feed can be automatic or manual, and conveyor speed is set by inverter.

Orbital stretch wrapping station

  • Squillare. Driven by double polyurethane wheels with adjustable friction, speed set by inverter, with soft start and ring jog.
  • trasportatori. PVC belt conveyors protect the product surface.
  • Press-down devices. Side guides, a top press with soft material for glass and finished surfaces, and press-down devices on infeed and outlet stop the product shaking.
  • Wrap control. On the touch screen: overlap from 10% to 90%, wrap start and stop points, head and end delays, and reinforcing turns at both ends.
  • Unmanned option. Automatic film feeding, cutting and clamping for the next package.

Velocità del trasportatore up to about 9 m/min
Velocità dell'anello circa 10–60 giri/min
Film estensibile LLDPE, 150–500 mm wide, roll OD 100–200 mm, 50 mm core
Bubble film roll Diametro esterno 50–600 mm
Potere di tenuta circa 6.5kW
Alimentazione 230 V 3 phase 50 Hz; control 24 V DC
Aria 6–8 kgf/cm²

Worked example: 2,000 mm panel

Take a furniture panel of 2,000 × 600 × 100 mm and 40 kg, with a 20 mm seal margin, then 250 mm stretch film at 50% overlap.

step Calcolo Risultato
Controllo delle dimensioni 2,000 × 600 × 100 mm, 40 kg inside all ranges
Bubble web width 600 + 100 + 2 × 20 740 mm per web
Bubble web length 2,000 + 100 + 2 × 20 2,140 mm per web
Bubble film per panel 0.74 × 2.14 × 2 webs circa 3.17 m²
Section diagonal for the ring √(600² + 100²) circa 608 millimetri
Avanzamento per giro dell'anello 250 × (1 − 50%) 125 mm
Giri 2,000 125 ÷ 16
Conveyor at 60 r/min 125 × 60 7,500 mm/min = 7.5 m/min (inside 9 m/min)
Travel wrap time 2 7.5 ÷ 0.27 min, about 16 s
End reinforcing, 2 head + 2 tail turns 4 ÷ 60 giri/min 0.067 min, about 4 s
Stretch film laid (16 + 4) × 1.4 m (perimeter 1,400 mm) circa 28 m

Risultato. Each panel takes two 740 mm webs of bubble film, about 3.17 m², and about 28 m of stretch film. The ring needs about 20 s per panel including end reinforcing, so the covering and sealing step usually sets the pace; that cycle is confirmed at quote.

Lista di controllo per la selezione

  1. Product length, width, height and weight.
  2. Surface: glass, painted, veneer or raw.
  3. Bubble film grade and roll size.
  4. Stretch film width and layers.
  5. Pezzi all'ora.
  6. Air and power supply.

Sicurezza: EN 415-10 e ISO 12100

The line is built to EN 415-10, the safety requirements for packaging machines, with the risk assessment to ISO 12100:2010. The hazards are the turning ring and the hot sealer. Moving parts are covered by protection shields, the sealer has error cutting protection, and the ring stops at a reset position. Guarding and CE documents are agreed per project.

FAQ di ingegneria

Q: Is the bubble film wrapped spirally too? A: No. It comes from rolls above and below and is cross-sealed at both ends; only the stretch film is spiralled.

Q: Can it run stretch film only? A: Yes. The covering station can be passed through and the orbital wrapper used alone.

Q: How heavy a product can it take? A: 20–100 kg, up to 2,400 mm long.

Q: What protects glass faces? A: A top press with soft material and PVC belt conveyors.
