A slit coil leaves the slitting line as a loose strip roll that needs a strap before it can travel or sit in storage. This machine class rotates and holds the coil so the strap is fed around the strip and tightened without the operator lifting the load.

Frame and turnstile
The machine has a yellow industrial machine frame that rotates and holds the coil. The roll surface carries black stripe markings, and the machine stands on a green metal factory floor with other machinery visible in the background.

Strap and cycle
The cycle starts with the coil in the turnstile: the machine rotates the coil into the strap position, the strap is fed around the strip and tightened, and the finished coil is released.
The strap runs around the strip, not through the eye. Strap count and tension are confirmed with your coil in the sizing step.

Töötamine ja ohutus
Place the coil in the turnstile, start the cycle, and let the machine rotate and strap it automatically. Take the finished coil from the outfeed when the strap is sealed.
Keep clear of the rotating turnstile and the strap feed while the machine runs, and check the turnstile drive and the strap feed per the machine manual. Stop the machine and isolate the power supply before clearing a jam or reaching near the turnstile, and apply lock-out per the site procedure before any service work.
