Plasttorude ja voolikute pakkimine: lahendused tööstusele

Kokkuvõte

A pipe and tube bagging machine forms flat film into a tube around a pipe and seals it, so each pipe leaves the line in its own bag. Our long-product bagger takes plastic pipe, stainless tube, bar and profile of 10–60 mm OD at a bagging speed of up to 70 m/min. For bundles of small plastic pipe, our bundle baggers bag bundles of 160–250 mm OD. A worked example sizes the film for a 6 m pipe.

Sisukord

Why pipe and tube are bagged

A bag keeps dust, water and grit off the pipe surface and away from the bore, and it stops pipes scratching each other in a bundle. For plastic pipe, stainless tube and finished profile, the surface is the product, so a scratch can mean a reject. A formed film bag fits closely, uses little material and is quick to cut open on site.

How the bagging machine works

The pipe runs in on a long conveyor and support line, guided by yellow polyurethane rollers. Flat film comes off a reel under the machine and rises into a forming section. There the film is folded up and around the pipe into a tube as the pipe moves through. The bag is then sealed, and the timing of the sealing is set for the pipe OD and length.

Our bagger has a high-speed bag forming system run by brushless motors. The bag seal is made under precise temperature control, and the PLC keeps the film and the pipe in step.

Single pipe or bundle: our bagging range

Masin Toode Bag / film Kiirus
Long-product bagger pipe, tube, bar, profile, OD 10–60 mm formed film bag kuni 70 m/min
Aluminium profile bagger tube OD 9.5–50 mm, 6,000 mm long BOPP or PE, 30–60 micron 10–50 m/min
Plastic pipe bundle bagger pipe 20–65 mm, bundles 180–250 mm OD, 3–6 m PE, PP or HDPE bag, 30–80 micron over 1 bundle per minute
Offline bundle bagger bundles 160–250 mm OD, 3,000 mm long PE or HDPE film, 30–60 micron tellimuse peale ehitatud

Air supply is 5–8 bar depending on the machine, and power is 380 V 3-phase. Larger single pipe, like the one in this line, is built to its OD, and the bag width and speed are confirmed at quote. In every case the flat film or bag must be wider than half the pipe or bundle circumference, plus the seal. The worked example below shows the check.

Worked example: film for a 6 m pipe

Illustrative pipe: 60 mm OD, 6 m long, bagged in 50 micron PE film with a 30 mm seal overlap and 100 mm of film past each end. PE density is taken as 920 kg/m³.

Vaata Arvutus Tulemus
Flat film width (circumference + seal) π × 60 + 30 ≈ 219 mm
Film length per pipe 6 + 2 × 0.1 6.2 m
Film area per pipe 0.219 × 6.2 ≈ 200 000 m²
Film mass per pipe 1.36 × 50 × 10⁻⁶ × 920 ≈ 62 g
Bag time per pipe at 70 m/min 6.2 ÷ 70 × 60 ≈ 5.3 sekundit

Tulemus. Each 6 m pipe needs about 219 mm of flat film and 62 g of PE, and at full bagging speed one pipe passes through in about 5.3 s. The pipe rate of the whole line also depends on feeding and out-feeding, so it is set by the slowest station.

Running with the extruder: online or offline

An online bagger sits right behind the extruder or mill and runs at its pace. Our online plastic pipe line counts and shapes the bundle, wraps it and bags it, at more than one bundle per minute. The bagger timing is adjusted to the pipe OD and length, so a size change is a program change, not a rebuild.

An offline bagger has its own strapping and bagging stations, fed from a store of cut pipe. It suits plants where several extruders share one packing area, or where the line speed changes often.

Other ways to pack pipe and tube

Bagging is one of several finishes we build for long products:

  • Horizontal orbital wrapping of a single pipe or a bundle.
  • Film and paper wrapping for aluminium profile.
  • Bagging and stacking for aluminium tube.
  • Counting, hexagon bundling and strapping for steel pipe.
  • Small-bundle bundling for rod and tube.

For plastic pipe, capping, bundling and woven-bag packing can also be joined after the extruder.

Valiku kontroll-leht

  1. Pipe OD, length and material.
  2. Single pipe or bundle, and pipes per bundle.
  3. Kile tüüp ja paksus.
  4. Line speed of the mill or extruder.
  5. Capping, strapping and stacking before or after bagging.

Ohutus: EN 415-10 ja ISO 12100

We design the bagger to EN 415-10 and assess its risks to ISO 12100. The main hazards are the moving pipe, the film forming section and the hot sealing parts. The sealing area is guarded, and film is loaded with the machine stopped.

Inseneri KKK

Q: What sizes can the bagger take? A: Our long-product bagger takes 10–60 mm OD. Larger single pipe is built to its OD.

Q: How fast is it? A: Up to 70 m/min bagging speed. A 6 m pipe passes in about 5.3 s at that speed.

Q: How long does a size change take? A: The timing is set in the program for each OD and length, so changing size is quick.

Q: Can it bag bundles? A: Yes. Our bundle baggers take bundles of 160–250 mm OD.

Q: Which standard applies? A: EN 415-10 for the machine, and ISO 12100 for the risk assessment.
