Why bottle bundles are wrapped

Bottles travel poorly as individuals, so drink lines form them into bundles that move, stack and ship as one unit. A bundle is compact and protected, and wrapping it in film keeps the group together and the labels clean for the trip. Without the wrap, a bundle of bottles comes apart and arrives rattling and scuffed. Forming and wrapping the bundle automatically is what the machine exists for, and the bundle size and film are confirmed per project.

Kuidas masin töötab

The machine wraps bottle bundles in a simple, reliable sequence: bottles move on a conveyor while a rotating arm applies clear plastic film around the group. The bottles do not rotate; the arm circles them, drawing film around the bundle and securing it into a compact shape. The wrapping action is automatic from infeed to output, so the bundle comes out the same film cover every cycle. The machine flow is confirmed per project on the real bundle.

Konveieri etteanne

Bottles are fed into the machine on a conveyor as a group, arriving at the wrap point as a bundle. The conveyor carries the group into place without breaking it up, so the arm wraps the bundle that was formed rather than a scattered set of bottles. Feeding on the conveyor also sets the spacing so each bundle reaches the wrap station ready. Conveyor width and bundle size are confirmed per project.

The rotating arm wrap

The rotating arm applies the film, circling the stationary bundle and pulling film around it in a secure cover. Wrapping from the arm keeps the bundle in place, so the film goes around the group rather than the group tumbling to get wrapped. Clear film shows the bottles while holding them, and the rotation applies even coverage around the bundle. The arm path and film feed follow the bundle size, confirmed per project.

A compact protected bundle

The finished bundle is compact and fully wrapped, with the film holding the bottles together and protecting the package. Compact means the bundle takes less space on the pallet, and protected means the bottles arrive clean and unbroken. The wrap holds through stacking and transit without loosening around the group. Bundle compactness and film hold are confirmed per project on the actual bottles.

Bundle output

After wrapping, the bundle is pushed forward out of the machine, cleared for palletizing or the next step. Output keeps the flow continuous, so the wrapping step does not hold up the line behind it. The wrapped bundle leaves in the direction of the following station, ready to be handled as one unit. Output height and direction are confirmed per project against the handling that follows.

Run the recipe from the panel and the machine wraps each bundle on the conveyor automatically. Keep clear of the infeed, rotating arm and film path while the machine runs, with guarding and emergency stops at the operator position. Routine checks cover the conveyor, rotating arm, film feed, sensors and output, per the machine manual. Confirm the bundle settings against the bottle before each run so bundles come out compact.
