Why hose coils need machine wrapping
A hose or pipe coil arrives from production wound, and it has to stay wound through storage and transport. A wrap band over the coil keeps the layers tight and the surface clean.
Wrapping a heavy coil by hand never applies the band evenly across the coil face. A machine that rotates the coil and feeds the band in a spiral gives the same result every time. Coil size and band are confirmed per project.

The machine is a coil wrapping machine for hose and pipe coils. The operator loads a coil into the centre clamp by hand. Gripper arms from both sides and a top cylinder then hold the coil in place. Once secured, the coil rotates while a wrapping head moves along the axis and lays a band over the surface in a spiral.
Because the coil is held and turned under power, the operator only loads and unloads the coil. The hold and rotation are confirmed per project.

After the operator steps back, the gripper arms close in from the sides and the top cylinder presses the coil against the rotation centre. The coil then turns steadily while the wrap is applied, so the band is drawn around the full circumference.
The clamp keeps the coil centred so the wrap is even on every side. Clamp force and rotation speed are confirmed per project.
Spiral along the axis
As the coil rotates, the wrapping head moves along the axis of the coil, so the band is laid in a spiral that covers the face of the coil from one side to the other. The footage shows the green band covering most of the circumference as the head travels.
The spiral lay means each pass overlaps the previous pass across the coil face. Head travel and overlap are confirmed per project.

Provoz a bezpečnost
Load the coil, step clear, and start the cycle so the grippers and cylinder hold the coil while it rotates. Keep hands away from the holding area and the wrapping head while the machine runs, with the yellow safety grilles in place on both sides.
Routine checks cover the clamp, the gripper arms, the top cylinder and the wrapping head, per the machine manual. Confirm the wrap settings against the coil before each run.
