What “online” means for a turntable wrapper
A standard turntable wrapper is loaded and unloaded by forklift. Every pallet means a driver lowering it onto the table, waiting, and lifting it off again.
On the B100 the turntable top is a powered roller conveyor. It lines up with an infeed conveyor on one side and an outfeed conveyor on the other. Pallets roll on and off, so the wrapper works as one station of a packing line.
How a pallet transfers on and off the turntable
- 进料。 A forklift sets the pallet on the infeed conveyor, or it arrives from upstream.
- 位置。 The motorised rollers carry it onto the turntable and stop it in the wrapping position.
- 裹。 The turntable turns while the film carriage runs up and down. Bottom, middle and top wraps are each set from 0 to 99 winds.
- 重启。 The turntable stops at its home position, so its rollers line up with the outfeed conveyor again.
- 出料。 The rollers carry the wrapped pallet off, and the next pallet follows.
The infeed and outfeed conveyors are options, sized to your line.
Automatic clamp, cut and wipe
At the end of the wrap a pneumatic mechanical hand takes over. Scissor-like gripper bars clamp the film. A heated wire cuts it, and a soft brush wipes the tail flat onto the load.
The gripper keeps hold of the film end, ready to start the next pallet. That is what lets the B100 run without an operator at the machine.

Worked example: cycle time and film per roll
Take a carton load on a 1,200 × 1,000 mm pallet, 1,400 mm high, with 2 bottom winds and 3 top winds. These are illustrative customer figures.
结束时间。 The carriage climbs 1.4 m and comes back down at 2.9 m/min, which takes 2 × 1.4 ÷ 2.9 = 0.97 min, or 58 s. The 5 fixed winds at 12 rpm take 5 × 5 = 25 s. Wrapping takes about 83 s.
线路费率。 At 24 loads an hour each pallet has 3,600 ÷ 24 = 150 s. That leaves 150 − 83 = 67 s for the roller transfer in and out, the turntable reset and the cut. We check that budget against your conveyor speeds.
每卷胶卷。 During the 58 s of carriage travel the turntable makes 58 × 12 ÷ 60 = 11.6 turns. With the fixed winds that is 16.6 turns. The load perimeter is 2 × (1.2 + 1.0) = 4.4 m, so about 73 m of film goes on the load.
Film per roll. At 250% pre-stretch, 73 m on the load is 73 ÷ 3.5 = 21 m off the roll. A 1,500 m roll then wraps about 71 loads, roughly three hours at 24 loads an hour.

We design the B100 to EN 415-6 for pallet wrapping machines, with an ISO 12100 risk assessment. The turning table, the moving carriage and the in-running points of the rollers are the main hazards. A guard rail runs round the turntable base, and a red mushroom-head emergency stop and lockable disconnect are standard.
Fence the station so nobody can reach the turntable while it runs. Where the conveyors pass through the fence, protect the openings with light curtains or tunnel guards chosen in the risk assessment.
