Coil size and strap count are set for the springiness of the hose.

Q: How fast does it coil?
A: Up to 80 m per minute on the FCL-800.

Q: How many straps per coil?
A: 4 for smooth coils that hold their shape, 6 for springy corrugated or heavy wire hose and for coils stacked high.

Q: Can it run online with the extruder?
A: Yes, length is measured by encoder and coiling follows the line speed.

Next step

Send your pipe sizes, coil sizes and line speed to info@fhopepack.com.

We size the coiler, strapping and wrapping.

We reply within 24 hours with a proposal and quotation.

Related reading

Automatic pipe winding machine FCL-800 (product)

Hose coil packaging line (product)

Hose coil wrapper FPH-200 (product)

HDPE coiler (product)

Hose coil packing machine

Sources

FHOPE product pages: FCL-800 pipe coiler; hose coil packaging line; HDPE coiler

EN ISO 12100:2010; EN 415-10; EN 60204-1

The big hose coiling and strapping machine shown above

Last reviewed: 2026-10-19

Executive summary Big hose, corrugated hose, wire-reinforced hose and HDPE pipe come off the extruder as one continuous length.
