An automatic aluminum tube bagging and stacking line bags the tubes and stacks the packages, removing the repetitive lifting and sealing by hand. Manual handling and packaging add risk at every step, and the shaping that keeps a tube round is also what makes it easy to damage.

Manual bagging is slow and inconsistent, and stacking finished units is repetitive lifting that tires a crew. The line is built to take over those two jobs so the tube stays clean from the line to the pallet.

What the line covers

The line covers bagging and stacking as one flow: the tubes are fed in, bagged, sealed and stacked automatically, with the finished stack moving out ready for handling. Connecting the two jobs is what makes it a line rather than two islands, so there is no manual pass between bagging and stacking. The covered steps and the way the flow connects are confirmed per project on the real tube range.

Bagging the tubes

The tubes are drawn into bags at the bagging station, each unit protected by its own covering. Bagging keeps the finished surface out of the air and away from neighboring tubes, which is the core protection the tube needs. The bag is sized to the tube length and diameter so the covering is complete rather than short at the ends. Bag width and format follow the tube range, confirmed per project.

Consistent seals

Each bag is sealed at the sealing station so the covering stays closed in handling and storage. Even sealing is what manual bagging varies on, and it is the point of taking the seal onto the machine: every bag closes the same way, so no package arrives half-open. Seal settings follow the bag material and hold at the seal, confirmed per project. A consistent seal is what keeps the covered tube covered.

Stacking the packages

After bagging, the packages are stacked automatically into a stable pattern. Stacking places each length squarely so the stack carries through storage without leaning or shedding tubes, and it replaces the manual stacking that follows packaging on hand lines. The stack pattern follows the tube length and package dimensions, confirmed per project, so the stack is stable at the full count. The finished stack leaves ready for the next station.

Ergonomics of the line

Bagging and stacking are both repetitive, and lifting tubes into bags and lifting packages into stacks is hard on arms and backs over a shift. The line removes that lifting, so the crew supervises and checks instead of handling every unit. Better ergonomics is a direct outcome of automation on this product: fewer injuries, less fatigue and a steadier flow at the end of the shift. Operator tasks are confirmed per project to fit how the line is staffed.

Typical configuration

Figures below list functional design boundaries rather than numeric values, and are confirmed per project.

Parameter

Typical range, confirmed per project

Tube

diameter, length

Bag

width, film grade

Seal

per bag material

Stack

pattern, layers

Line

infeed to outfeed

Electrical supply

380 V three phase 50 Hz, or 220 V single phase for light machines, selected per project

What the video shows

Our footage shows an aluminum tube bagging and stacking line.
