The coil lies flat, the wrapper centers and secures it without manual help, and a vertical ring passes through the coil eye while rollers turn the coil. Frequency converters set the ring and roller speeds, and the PLC and touch screen hold preset programs for each coil size.<\/p>\n<p>Because coils arrive and leave on conveyors, nobody lifts them between coiling and wrapping. A large reel with a 900 mm bore and 1,300 mm OD needs the FPH-400W.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"rate-match\">Seconds per coil versus extrusion rate<\/h2>\n<p>The wrapper is rarely the bottleneck. Compare its cycle with how often your extruder finishes a coil:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Wrapper.<\/strong> At 20\u201340 s per coil, a standalone wrapper can handle 90\u2013180 coils per hour.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Full line.<\/strong> Coiling, strapping, wrapping and palletizing together run about 30 coils per hour.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Extruder (illustrative).<\/strong> 100 m coils at a line speed of 20 m\/min make one coil every 5 min, or 12 coils per hour.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So for this example, one wrapper serves the extruder with time to spare.
