A wrap over the outer surface holds the outer layer in place and keeps moisture and dirt off the coil.<\/p>\n<p>Wrapping the coil with a machine gives an even cover that hand wrapping cannot reach. When the set cover is reached, the arm slows and stops, and the material end is cut or held down.<\/p>\n<p>The machine stops the wrap at the right point, so the coil is finished in one cycle.
