Loose coils shift and deform, and the wire pays out unevenly. Rewinding into tight, uniform packages, then strapping them to hold their shape, is a real bottleneck in many wire plants.<\/p>\n<p>The machine takes the coil through that step automatically, so loose wire becomes a strapped, stable package. A steel wire coil rotates on a central axis while a mechanical arm and clamping assembly work around it.
