Facilities with varied flows and moving pick zones cannot always feed a fixed wrapper. When the load is scattered, the wrapper should go to the load. The layout and load distribution are confirmed per project.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"what-the-robot-does\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>What the robot does<\/h2>\n<p>The robot pallet wrapper is an autonomous mobile unit that travels to a pallet and applies the stretch wrap around it on site. The robot positions itself at the load, completes the wrapping cycle and moves to the next pallet, all without a fixed station. Because the machine brings the wrap to the load, wrapping follows the facility&#8217;s flow. The robot&#8217;s travel and wrap cycle are confirmed per project.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"going-to-the-pallet\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Going to the pallet<\/h2>\n<p>The robot navigates to the pallet, arriving where the load stands rather than requiring the load to be brought to it. Going to the pallet is what lets wrapping happen in the pick zone, the dock or the queue. The robot sets up at the load and wraps it in place. Navigation and positioning are confirmed per project against the environment.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"mobile-stretch-wrapping\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Mobile stretch wrapping<\/h2>\n<p>The robot applies stretch film around the pallet from its mobile base, tensioning the wrap as it circles the load. Mobile stretch wrapping delivers the same containment as a fixed wrapper, from a unit that moves between loads. The wrap tension and passes follow the load, confirmed per project.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"flexibility-in-varied-environments\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Flexibility in varied environments<\/h2>\n<p>Flexibility is the point: the robot wraps where fixed automation cannot, in varied and changing environments where pallet locations shift. One robot covers flows that would need several fixed stations. Loads get wrapped at their location, not on a detour. Keep clear of the robot&#8217;s path, film carriage and load while it runs, with guarding, safety sensors and emergency stops at the operator position. Routine checks cover the drive, navigation, film system, sensors and control, per the machine manual.
