Film wraps around it, the side knife seals the length and the cross knife seals the ends.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shrink.<\/strong> A roller conveyor carries the sealed pack through the heat shrink tunnel, where the film tightens onto the product.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Unload.<\/strong> At the end of the line, operators stack the finished boards.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The sealer has a warning label at the knife: keep hands out of the cutter. This is inside the side sealer window.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Profile bundle<\/strong> 200 mm wide and 100 mm high: width + height = 300 mm. So the tunnel sets the output. A quick upper bound:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Tunnel speed.<\/strong> At the full 10 m\/min, 10 m of product passes per minute.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pieces per hour.<\/strong> For 6 m profiles, 60 \u00d7 10 \u00f7 6 = 100 pieces per hour.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Real output.<\/strong> This figure is a ceiling, not a rating. Each piece needs a gap for the cross seal, and the film may need a slower tunnel speed to shrink well, so real output is lower. We confirm the tunnel speed on your film and product in a trial.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"film-and-sealing\">Film and sealing<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Side knife.<\/strong> A constant-temperature side knife seals the length. It works continuously, so product length is not limited.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cross knife.<\/strong> The cross knife moves vertically to seal the front and rear ends. The seal line is straight and strong.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Film length.<\/strong> An electric eye and timer set the film feed length. Horizontal and vertical electric eyes also detect thin or small products.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Scrap.<\/strong> The film edge trim is taken up automatically by a separate motor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Adjustment.<\/strong> Changing pack size only needs a hand wheel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The side sealer uses a Siemens colour touch screen with PLC and an Omron temperature controller. The standards that apply depend on the destination market. On the side sealer, the minimum length is 250 mm.<\/p>\n<p>Q: Which machine fits a 600 mm wide, 50 mm thick panel?\nA: The side sealer. Width + height is 650 mm, inside its 400\u2013900 mm window.<\/p>\n<p>Q: How do you change between pack sizes?\nA: On the side sealer, only a hand wheel is needed to adjust for a new pack size. The electric eye and timer then set the film length for each piece.<\/p>\n<p>Q: What limits the output on long profiles?\nA: The tunnel conveyor.
