Wrapping on a horizontal through-feed keeps the coil flat while the outer wrap is applied.<\/p>\n<p>A horizontal machine feeds the coil on a roller conveyor, so the wrap is done without lifting the coil out of line. Coil diameter and tape overlap are confirmed per project.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"what-the-machine-does\">What the machine does<\/h2>\n<p>The machine is a through-feed coil wrapping station. An overhead curved wrapping arm pays out paper tape from a large reel on the side and wraps it around the outside of a ring-shaped coil sitting on the roller conveyor.<\/p>\n<p>When the wrap is complete, the arm lifts and the wrapped coil continues on the conveyor. Coil width, diameter and wrap length are confirmed per project.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"wrapping-arm-conveyor-and-tape-feed\">Wrapping arm, conveyor and tape feed<\/h2>\n<p>The main structure is a painted metal frame laid out horizontally, with a roller conveyor running through it. An overhead curved wrapping arm carries guide rollers that press the tape onto the coil, and a large tape reel on the side feeds the wrap.<\/p>\n<p>A control box on the machine carries the indicator lamps for the running state. Conveyor height, arm size and reel position are confirmed per project.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"cycle-and-control\">Cycle and control<\/h2>\n<p>The coil enters on the roller conveyor and comes to rest under the wrapping arm. The arm starts, pulls tape from the reel and layers it around the outside of the coil, then lifts when the wrap is finished.<\/p>\n<p>A signal lamp on the control box shows the machine is running. The cycle is started and stopped at the machine, per project.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"what-the-footage-shows\">What the footage shows<\/h2>\n<p>Our footage shows a ring-shaped coil on the roller conveyor travelling into the machine under the curved wrapping arm. The arm pulls tape from the reel and lays it around the outside of the coil, and when the wrap finishes the arm lifts and the wrapped coil continues on the conveyor.
