Under braking in a truck, the whole wrapped block can slide on the deck.<\/p>\n<p>Carrying the film down over the pallet itself locks the two together. The pallet becomes part of the unit load, and the block cannot slide off it as a whole.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"lifter\">How the pallet lifter works<\/h2>\n<p>The standard RAS200 wraps the load directly on the conveyor. There the pallet sits on rollers, and the film carriage cannot reach below the deck. Our optional pneumatic pallet lifter in the service conveyor raises the load clear of the rollers. The carriage then drops low enough to wrap the wooden pallet completely.<\/p>\n<p>For unstable goods, a scissor electro-mechanical top press plate comes down onto the load during wrapping. For dust or rain cover, the TS top sheet dispenser lays a polyethylene sheet over the load in the same cycle.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"cycle\">RAS200 wrapping sequence<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Identify.<\/strong> A sensor detects the load as the conveyor brings it in.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lift and hold (options).<\/strong> Where fitted, the pallet lifter raises the load and the top press plate settles on it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wrap.<\/strong> The arm circles the load while the carriage climbs to the measured packing height, then wraps back down. These are illustrative customer figures, inside the 2,000 kg and 1,200 \u00d7 1,200 \u00d7 2,000 mm limits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time budget.<\/strong> At 50 loads an hour, each load has 3,600 \u00f7 50 = 72 s. At 40 an hour it has 90 s. That budget covers infeed, lifting, wrapping, cutting and outfeed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Turns.<\/strong> With 500 mm film at 50% overlap, each turn climbs 250 mm. Going up the stack takes 1,400 \u00f7 250 = 5.6 turns, and the carriage wraps the same 5.6 on the way down, ending at the bottom for the cut. Add 3 turns round the lifted pallet and 2 at the top, and the wrap is 16.2 turns.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arm speed needed.<\/strong> The arm speed is the turns divided by the wrapping time you allow. Shorter stacks or fewer turns move towards 50.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Film.<\/strong> The perimeter is 2 \u00d7 (1,200 + 1,000) = 4,400 mm, so 16.2 turns lay 71.3 m on the load. The arm sweep, the pallet lifter and the top press are the hazard zones. A yellow guard fence surrounds the station.
