The gantry lifts the panel, travels along the blue overhead beam and lowers it onto a stack on the outfeed conveyor, then goes back for the next one. A worker watches from a control station in the background.

Later a stack of extra-long panels, covered in light-cyan film on its sides and ends, moves along the roller line into the large blue-framed wrapping station, where a green lamp shows on the control cabinet.

How the panel line works

Step

What happens

Pick

The vacuum gantry lifts a panel off the conveyor

Stack

It lowers the panel onto the stack

Feed

The stack runs on the roller line

Wrap

The orbital ring wraps film around the stack as it passes

Out

The wrapped stack leaves on the outfeed rollers

Vacuum cups hold each board flat along its length, so long panels do not sag or rub while they are moved.

Film advance and wrap passes along the stack

Illustrative example:

Item

Value

Stack length (illustrative)

6,000 mm

Film width (illustrative)

250 mm

Advance per ring turn at 50% overlap

125 mm

Ring turns along the stack, 6,000 ÷ 125

48

End turns (illustrative)

2 + 2

Total ring turns

52

Slowing the conveyor or speeding up the ring raises the overlap.

Dust cover for long panels

Need

How the line handles it

Dust on faces

Overlapping film on all four sides

Dust at the ends

Extra turns reinforce both ends; we add end covering where needed

Scratches

Vacuum handling, no sliding

Bending

Support along the full length

Tell us the panel lengths and stack sizes, and we size the gantry, conveyor and ring to them. Keep people out from under the gantry and away from the ring while the line runs, and enter only with it stopped.

The standards that apply depend on the destination market.
