It shows small round coils being wrapped through the eye on our ring wrappers.<\/p>\n<table>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th>Step<\/th>\n<th>What you see<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Loading<\/td>\n<td>Coils lie flat, eye to sky, on a powered roller table; an operator places them by hand<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Centring<\/td>\n<td>Yellow arms on each side of the roller table hold the coil on the ring centre line<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Wrapping<\/td>\n<td>A vertical ring with an orange guard frame turns and passes film through the coil eye while the rollers turn the coil<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Second unit<\/td>\n<td>A green-framed ring wrapper with the FHOPE logo does the same job on the next coils<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Unloading<\/td>\n<td>The operator lifts the wrapped coil off by hand; the film fully covers it<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&#8220;Full wrapping-through&#8221; means the film goes through the eye and round the outside on every turn, so the whole coil is covered and needs no strapping.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"how-it-works\">How eye-through wrapping covers the coil<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ring.<\/strong> The film roll rides on the ring, so each turn of the ring takes the film through the eye and back round the outside.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rollers.<\/strong> The supporting rollers turn the coil slowly, so each turn lands a little further round and the turns overlap.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Arms.<\/strong> Four groups of adjustable arms set the coil size and centre point, and supporting rollers keep the coil from shifting or shaking while the ring turns.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Overlap.<\/strong> Ring speed and roller speed are both set by converters, so the overlap is set to the job.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Film end.<\/strong> Our published FPCA-200 data includes automatic film cutting and feeding at the end of the cycle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"machine-data\">FPCA-200 data<\/h2>\n<p>The machines in the clip match our cable coil wrapping machine FPCA-200. That is 3,600 \u00f7 40 = 90 coils per hour.
