The times come from frames about 3 s apart.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"how-it-works\">How a 180 degree pallet inverter works<\/h2>\n<p>A forklift sets the loaded pallet on the inverter. The pressing device closes on the load and holds it between the two plates. The whole body then turns through 180 degrees, so the load ends upside down with its top on the lower plate.<\/p>\n<p>The inverter is fixed by its dead weight, so it needs no floor anchors. The turning speed is adjustable, and the motion is steady and without vibration. With forklift loading and unloading, an illustrative 2 min per load gives 30 loads an hour.<\/p>\n<p>For most pallet swaps that is enough, and the forklift is the limit. Anyone inside the fence while the clamp turns is the move to design out. The wireless remote lets the operator start and watch the turn from outside the fence.<\/p>\n<p>Stop, isolate and lock out the inverter before anyone enters the fence, frees a load or adjusts the pressing device. The separate electrical box keeps testing and fault-finding away from the turning body.<\/p>\n<p>The standards that apply depend on the destination market.
