Three Orientations, Three Machines
Steel coils arrive at the packing stage in different orientations: standing with the eye pointing up, lying with the eye facing sideways, and wide strip coils lying flat. One machine cannot wrap all of them cleanly, so this line pairs each orientation with the machine built for it. The live demo in this article runs all three machines side by side.

The vertical steel coil wrapper wraps coils standing in the eye-to-sky position without turning them first. The coil keeps its delivery orientation and enters the machine directly. Film or paper wraps the outer circumference while the coil stays on the centered support, protecting the surface and edges.
Yatay Bobin Sarma Makinesi
The horizontal steel coil wrapper wraps coils lying with the eye facing sideways, usually after a turning step. A downender or turnover device tips the coil from the vertical to the horizontal orientation before it reaches the wrapper. The horizontal ring then passes around the coil body, covering the surface and both sides of the eye.
Horizontal Strip Coil Wrapper
