Why carpet rolls need shrink film
A carpet roll has a delicate pile surface that picks up dirt and snags easily. A tight film cover keeps the pile clean and holds the roll together through storage and delivery.
A loose film wrap lets the cover move and bunch. Shrink film that is drawn over the roll and then heated shrinks tight in every direction, so the cover follows the roll rather than hanging loose. Film grade and roll size are confirmed per project.

A carpet roll is placed on the conveyor and moves into the wrapping section. Transparent film is drawn from above, guided over the roll, and sealed around it. The covered roll then enters a tunnel oven, where the film shrinks and tightens against the roll surface.
The machine runs the roll through the two steps in one line, so the wrapped result leaves ready for dispatch. The wrapping section and oven are matched to the roll length. Line layout is confirmed per project.
Wrap, then shrink
The film has to be wrapped before it shrinks. The clip shows the roll moving under the film feed, the film drawn down around the roll, and the edges brought together and sealed so the roll is inside a closed film sleeve. Only a closed sleeve will shrink tight all the way around.
The wrap step takes place as the roll sits on the conveyor, holding the film in position for the oven. Film draw and sealing are confirmed per project.
The tunnel oven
After wrapping, the roll travels into the tunnel oven on the conveyor. Inside the oven, heat makes the film contract until it is tight against the carpet surface, giving the smooth, fitted cover that protects the pile.
The oven is sized so the roll passes through at a steady speed. Oven temperature and pass speed are confirmed per project.

Эксплуатация и безопасность
Start the line from the control panel and the roll moves through wrap and oven under power. Keep clear of the film feed, the sealing area and the oven opening while the machine runs, with emergency stops at the operator position.
Routine checks cover the film feed, the sealer and the oven controls, per the machine manual. Confirm the heat settings against the film grade before each run.
