This article is based on the FHOPE demonstration video embedded below. The video shows an automatic profile wrapping machine built as a complete line: a long conveyor feeds profiles into an orbital wrapping station, a 90-degree transfer moves the wrapped profile to a parallel conveyor, and a buffer section holds it for the next process step. This article describes what the video shows and what a buyer should verify before integrating such a line.
- A long, dark grey conveyor system with a green conveyor surface, arranged as a continuous line.
- The line has four visible stages: a feeding section, a main wrapping station, a 90-degree transfer, and a parallel buffer/transfer conveyor.
- The wrapping station uses a large enclosed ring (orbital) mechanism that rotates around the profile to apply film.
- A film roll is mounted on a red spool beside the machine, and a control panel with a screen, buttons, an emergency stop, and an indicator light is visible on the right side.
Het product en het proces
- The machine processes long, dark grey cylindrical profiles, which are wrapped in a clear or translucent film.
- In the video, a profile moves along the conveyor, passes through the rotating ring where film is applied, is transferred 90 degrees onto the parallel conveyor, and then moves along the buffer section.
Safety features visible
- A protective metal mesh cage surrounds the wrapping ring, with a door and handle.
- A red emergency-stop button and a green indicator light are on the control panel.
- A yellow warning label is visible on the control panel, and a light-curtain-style grid is visible on the cage door.
Milieu
- The machine operates in a large warehouse with white corrugated metal walls, high ceilings, and large windows.
- A parked truck, pallets of boxes and sacks, a forklift outside the door, and a person walking in the background appear in the footage.
Directe observatienotities (uit de frame-analyse)
- Long dark-grey conveyor line with green conveyor surface; feeding section, enclosed orbital wrapping station, 90-degree transfer, and parallel buffer conveyor.
- Long dark-grey cylindrical profiles wrapped in clear film; film roll on a red spool beside the machine.
- Orbital ring rotates around the profile to apply film; profile is then transferred 90 degrees to the parallel buffer conveyor.
- Control panel with screen and buttons; red emergency-stop button; green indicator light; yellow warning label.
- Metal mesh cage around the wrapping station with a door; light-curtain grid on the door.
- FHOPE GROUP logo watermark visible on the footage; FHOPE GROUP / AUTOMATIC WRAPPING MACHINE label on the control panel.
- Warehouse environment: white corrugated walls, high ceiling, large windows, parked truck, pallets, forklift; a person walks in the background.
Wat de video niet laat zien
- Maximum profile length, diameter, or weight.

- Certificeringsdocumenten of onderhoudsvereisten.
Why a long-conveyor profile wrapping line matters
Long, narrow products — aluminum profiles, steel sections, PVC trims, and extrusions — are awkward to wrap by hand because they are too long for a standard turntable wrapper and too fragile for rough handling. An orbital wrapper solves the length problem by rotating the film ring around the stationary product while it travels straight through the machine. That is exactly what the video shows: the profile stays on the conveyor and the ring moves around it.
The rest of the line solves the integration problem. The feeding section brings product into the machine at a controlled rate, the 90-degree transfer changes the direction of the wrapped profile so the line can be laid out to fit the factory, and the buffer section decouples the wrapper from the next machine so a short pause downstream does not stop the wrapping line. For a buyer, the value is not just the wrapping itself — it is being able to put wrapping into an existing production flow without creating a bottleneck.
Wat de demonstratie betekent voor kopers
Wat de video ondersteunt
- The machine wraps long profiles automatically with an orbital ring while they travel on a conveyor.
- The line includes a 90-degree transfer and a buffer section, so it is designed to integrate with other equipment rather than stand alone.
- Safety is treated as part of the machine design: a protective cage, an emergency stop, warning labels, and a light-curtain-style guard are visible.
Wat u bij de fabrikant moet navragen.
- Profielbereik: maximum and minimum profile length, cross-section, and weight, matched to your product mix.
- Lijnindeling: conveyor length, the direction of the 90-degree transfer, and whether the buffer length can be sized to your line speed.
- Film and wrapping quality: film width and thickness options, overlap settings, and whether the wrap is adjustable per product type.
- Cyclustijd: wrapping speed per profile at your conveyor speed, and whether the transfer and buffer keep up.
- Veiligheidsnaleving: certifications, guarding documentation, and the full list of standard safety features.
- integratie: how the line connects to upstream feeding and downstream packaging or bundling equipment, including control handshakes.
Vragen die je moet stellen voordat je iets koopt
- What profile lengths, diameters, and weights does the line accept?
- How fast can it wrap at full length, and what is the conveyor speed?
- Is the 90-degree transfer direction fixed, or can the layout be mirrored?
- Can the buffer section be extended to match my line speed?
- What film types and widths are supported, and is wrapping tension adjustable?
- Welke veiligheidsvoorzieningen zijn standaard: kooi, lichtscherm, noodstop en vergrendelingen?
- What documentation and after-sales support are included: drawings, manuals, certifications, and spares?
Bron en methode
This article is based on the FHOPE demonstration video embedded above (“horizontal orbital wrapper with 90 degree transfer”). Frames were sampled from the video and analyzed with a local vision model so that the machine description is grounded in what is actually shown. The video contains background music only, with no narration, and timestamps are approximate. The derivative sections are analysis and should be confirmed against the manufacturer’s specifications.
