Why pack a pipe coil
A pipe wound into a coil is loose on its outer layers and collects dirt in handling. A film cover holds the outer layer and keeps the coil clean until it is used.
Packing the coil with a machine covers the full surface more evenly than hand wrapping. Coil range is confirmed per project.

Coil on a rotating support
The coil sits on a rotating support with a pair of support rollers that carry it during the wrap. Turning the coil lets the film cover the whole outer surface without moving the film head around the coil.

Film over the coil
Film feeds from a reel on the side through yellow and white guide rollers, forming a loop that travels along the coil as the support turns. The film is kept under tension so the layer fits close.
Guiding the film in a loop keeps the layer even around the coil profile. Film width and tension are confirmed per project.

Position the coil on the support and start the cycle from the control; the support turns and the film wraps under power. Keep clear of the support, the film path and the guide rollers while the machine runs, with the safety guarding closed.
Routine checks cover the support drive, the rollers, the film feed and the tension system, per the machine manual. Confirm the film setup against the coil before each run.
