In the video, the cycle is short and largely automatic. A black cable coil sits on the machine’s support columns, and the machine starts. An overhead arched arm moves down while transparent film is pulled from a top spindle, and the film spirals around the coil’s circumference. The film end is then pressed down to seal the wrap, and an operator makes a final check.
Because only the film moves, a coil does not have to be rotated or spun while it is wrapped. That matters for products that could be damaged or disturbed by rotation, such as large or loosely wound coils.

The static-coil wrap
Two coil-wrapping geometries are easy to confuse, and this video settles the question clearly.

For a cable or wire plant, the static-coil design has a practical benefit: the product does not spin, so heavy or fragile coils are not disturbed during wrapping. It also means the machine wraps the circumference and seals the end in one pass, without needing a rotating platform under the coil.
The honest caveat is the same as any short demo: the footage shows capability, not specification. Coil sizes, cycle time, film settings and safety details come from the manufacturer’s data sheet.
