## Rotate-the-tire vs orbit-the-tire: what the footage shows

Re-checking the frames settles the mechanism:

* **Clamp-and-rotate (seen here):** the **tire rotates around its own axis** while the two clamp arms hold it and the film is applied. The arms remain in place as the tire turns.
* **Orbiting film head:** film mechanism orbits around a stationary tire. **Not seen here.**
