## Direct observation notes

These structure observations are taken directly from the video frames. Anything that could not be read in the footage is marked as such.

* **Machine finish:** blue and yellow painted metal frame, smooth and sturdy; long layout with the conveyor passing through.
* **Conveyor:** parallel metal rollers carry the tires.
* **Arm & clamps:** mechanical arm above the conveyor with two white clamps; it grips and rotates the tire.
* **Film reel:** a reel above the arm stores and releases transparent film during wrapping.
* **Load:** black rubber tire (automotive or industrial vehicle type), showing tread; it lies flat on the conveyor.
* **Motion:** the tire is gripped by the clamps and rotated to receive film, staying horizontal; after wrapping it continues along the conveyor.
* **People:** a worker in orange helmet and blue workwear stands by the machine; another worker is visible in the background.

## What the video does not show

The clip demonstrates the wrapping action only. It does not show:

* Hourly capacity (tires per hour) and maximum tire size/weight.
* Full cycle time from infeed to output.
* Film type, width, and number of wrap layers.
* Model number, power, and voltage.
* Certifications (CE, ISO).
* Emergency stop, guarding, or light curtains.
* Machine footprint dimensions.

## Rotated-tire vs stationary-wrap: what this video shows

Tire wrapping machines fall into two broad styles, and it helps to be explicit:

* **Clamp-and-rotate (seen here):** the tire is gripped and rotated while film is applied — the tire turns, the film comes from a fixed reel position.
* **Stationary tire with orbiting film head:** the tire stays still and the film-applying mechanism orbits around it. **Not shown in this clip.**

The distinction matters for machine selection and for how much floor area and rotating mass the design involves.

## Operator notes

Human involvement is light and visible around the loading side: a worker in orange helmet and blue workwear stands by the machine, and another worker adjusts equipment in the background. The wrapping itself — clamping, rotating, film application, release — runs automatically.
