개요 Hose and cable coils can be wrapped two ways: as a stack on a turntable pallet wrapper, or one by one through the eye on a coil wrapper. Our A200 turntable wrapper with its top press option wraps a whole stack in under a minute. Our FPH-300 seals each coil on its own in 23 to 35 s. A worked example compares the two for a stack of eight coils.

Two ways to wrap coils
Stack wrap. Coils lie flat, eye vertical, one on top of another on a turntable. Film goes round the outside of the whole stack. The coils stay together as one unit until the stack is opened.
Eye wrap. Each coil passes through a ring that winds film through its eye and round its body. Every coil leaves fully sealed, ready to sell or ship on its own.
Wrapping a coil stack on the turntable
- 하중. The operator stacks the coils by hand, eye vertical, in the centre of the turntable.
- 프레스. The top press comes down onto the top coil.
- 포장하다. The turntable turns while the film carriage climbs the mast, laying pre-stretched film in a spiral round the stack.
- 마침. The turntable stops at its start position, and the film is cut and sealed.
- 부리다. The press lifts, and the wrapped stack, or single coils from it, go onto a trolley.
Why the top press matters for light coils
A stack of light coils has little weight holding it on the turntable. When the turntable starts and the film tightens, the top coils can slide or twist out of line.
The press plate sits on the top coil and clamps the stack down onto the turntable. It stays down until the top wraps are on, then lifts clear for unloading. It is an option on the A200, and we recommend it for stacks of light hose coils.

Worked example: eight coils, stack wrap or eye wrap
Take hose coils 600 mm outside diameter, 350 mm inside diameter and 150 mm wide. Eight coils make a stack 1,200 mm high. These are illustrative customer figures.
Stack wrap on the A200. With 500 mm film at 50% overlap, the carriage climbs 250 mm per turn. The 1,200 mm stack takes 1,200 ÷ 250 = 4.8, or 5 turns on the way up. Add 3 base and 3 top winds for 11 turns, on a single upward pass with the cut at the top. At 13 r/min that is 11 × 60 ÷ 13 = 51 s, or about 6.3 s per coil.
Film for the stack. Each turn is π × 0.6 = 1.88 m round the stack. Eleven turns lay 20.7 m on the coils. At 250% pre-stretch that is 20.7 ÷ 3.5 = 5.9 m off the roll.
Eye wrap on the FPH-300. The coils fit its range: 350 mm ID, 600 mm OD and 150 mm wide. At 23 to 35 s per coil, eight coils take 184 to 280 s.

Hand stacking and unloading add to the stack-wrap time, so measure it on your floor before you compare.

Choose the stack wrap when coils ship together and are opened at one site, for example to an assembly plant. Choose the eye wrap when coils are sold or stored singly, or must stay clean after the stack is broken. Many plants use both: eye wrap for retail coils, stack wrap for bulk orders.

We design the A200 to EN 415-6 for pallet wrapping machines, and the FPH-300 to EN 415-10, each with an ISO 12100 risk assessment. On the A200 the turning stack, the film carriage and the descending press are the main hazards. Keep hands off the stack and the turntable edge while it turns; stop the cycle at the red mushroom-head emergency stop before reaching in.
